seems pretty common with certain prestige products and hi-fi audio products too beguiled perception

So I went to Arundel Mills Mall today to meet someone who was gonna buy some hockey tickets from me. $80, which almost paid for the gas down there and dinner for my family at popeyes. I met the guy, sold the tickets, bought some crap at the mall, and then went out to my car. My wife points out that her window has been shattered, and that we're missing stuff. Turns out 5 other people in that mall parking lot ALSO had their windows smashed and stuff stolen in the 3 hrs I was at the mall. I had my xm radio, gps, and my wife's bag of knitting crap? stolen. It was caught on mall security camera video. It was a well lit parking lot. Odds of anything coming of that anyone?

hi there i don't know if it's a taboo question, but was just wondering how come this place isn't ever mentioned on head-fi? am i missing something? is it supposed to be private only (i read some archives and noticed it was invite only at one stage) the reason i ask is that before i read the wikipedia article on headphones (of which this forum is linked, so it mustn't be that private) i had no idea this place existed and it seems like a great place when head-fi's a bit too much. i'd like to continue hanging here so before i get too carried away i just wanted to understand how things roll around here could someone please clarify? thanks, dave

To our fellow canadians who have shipped to the states - what is your experience regarding shipping carriers and our borders in assessing import/duty fees? I picked up a mapletree used on audiogon and would like some info on how to avoid them if it is an issue.

I hope to never see my sister-in-law ever again. She continues to fuck up any holiday she attends. She has no common sense, says tasteless and rude things to family, and continues to think things are just fine. She is a complete bitch idiot. If I could only It will really shake things up, but my goal for Christmas 2008 is to have a Christmas without her. I don't think I'm alone, judging from the comments from the rest of the family. So, anyone have a special someone who is similar?
