For those of you that are familiar with the area, I would love to hear some feedback. The wife and I are looking to go to San Diego for a little trip in the summer during break. A couple of days, nothing crazy. My wife loves the beach and is a stickler for staying in a "clean" area, whatever that means:palm: I was thinking Mission Bay area. Has anyone ever had to read this pile of shit? I had to write 10 "journal entries" on it today, it took me 4 hours just because the thing is so damn boring. I can't read more than 15 pages at once without having to stop. I want to jump in front of a moving truck after reading it. I asked my mom, who loves to read, if she had read it, and all she could say was "I hate that fucking book". And I found a 10 line runon sentence. Aren't there more important things to teach in school?

So far, for me, it's Ultraviolet -- most of y'all are going to hate it, but those who will admit to themselves that they enjoy watching a heroine kick some serious ass -- with guns, bullets and looks -- this is for you. Highly stylized looks (it appears that 29 out of every 30 frames have been airbrushed)...terrible CGI (I think Tron was better) -- but again, I think this was on purpose, since it's so consistent -- made to look like a comic book, perhaps?...total over-the-top violence (bullet-dodging)...Milla's naked butt...what's not to like? If you liked films like Equilibrium or Brotherhood of the Wolf, recommended.

The issue seems to be accusations of DMCA or other infringement that breach Blogger or Blogspot's Terms of Service, but bloggers are claiming they had permission and encouragement from artists and labels to post the material. School year ends this Friday, and my wife and I are out of here and headed to Portland OR for a week! (kids will be with grandparents, yes!). Will gladly take any recs for places to visit.
