Another forum I go to just implemented a edit history type thing where anyone can see if a post was edited and what the post looked like before it was edited, sort of like wikipedia. I'm not completely sure if the forum software here could implement it but it would be pretty cool to have that feature available and increase the edit window a little more

I'm not receiving email notifications of activity in my subscribed threads. Anyone else?

is there a preference for turning off email notification of new pm's? if so, i guess i'm dumb and i can't find it. if not, can y'all add it? mjb

First, let me say this is not that big a deal, I'm just a bit curious about the following. I don't know if I'm just doing something stupid with Fire Fox, but for whatever reason my Head Case toolbar bookmarks (the drag-able ones) always loose the HC favicon after visiting another site that has favicons. Same deal with regular old folder bookmarks. So if I go to Headfi from Headcase, my bookmark reads 'Head Case' but features the Headfi favicon. Usually coming back seems to replace it again. For some reason when I embed a gallary image I cannot get the flash-based imaged viewer to load the image when I click on it. I'm still trying to think through ways to keep this forum different from another place we know. Right now, the level of discourse here is much higher than at that other place, in part because we are confirmed hobbyists, without a large influx of newbies stumbling over us. That is likely to eventually change, though, and I think we should try and find ways to keep forums focussed on sound, particularly the high end. So, as a start, how about a forum titled "What should I buy?" or "Is this the right gear for me?" or something along those lines. Didn't we used to be able to change the colors and what have you of the forum? Sometimes when browsing forums all the white makes my eyes hurt, I typically turn on a dark theme if anything like that is available. Do we have that? Thank you kind sirs. -Postjack, Esq.

I updated my Mac and iOS devices yesterday to 10.12.3 and 10.2.1 respectively, and now after I cleared cookies I am getting this: I tried clearing my cookies in Mac OS Safari and I see the same screen. Any browser that I am still logged in to (using Chrome at the moment) work fine.

The GIF tab when posting doesn't seem to be working any more. No matter what I search for, it now says that there are no search results. Not critical but it's odd that it worked up until recently. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I know it sounds a bit trivial, but alot of places are like that and by reflex I always click there.

Anyone else having issues with the site being slow and/or unresponsive? I started noticing it last week - didn't think anything of it at the time but it has been persistently slow and unresponsive since then. I'd click to go to a forum and it just hangs there or go to a blank screen and hangs there. Sometime, it eventually gets to the forum I clicked on, other times, I need to refresh/close tab/etc. before it works. I haven't noticed inordinate slow down or unresponsiveness on other sites and, FWIW, my internet speed hasn't gone down (at least according to speediest.net).

Good afternoon! The thing is that when trying to register on the forum, the error "This site key is not enabled for the invisible captcha" appears. It is impossible to pass the registration. Can I ask to fix it somehow? Thank! Jsts.

how about a forum for ME, we'll call it "postjacks paradise yall" and basically we only talk about COOL shit in there. basically i make the rules and all the talk is cool stuff only. no lame stuff will be allowed in there. headcase is already a great place, lets make it a greater place!

I noticed the "recent posts" part at the bottom of the page got a lot smaller today after the upgrades. I reset my theme back to Ig-Oh (or default) which is what I normally use and the recent posts bar is much smaller than it used to be. I can't find a setting to make it so it shows more posts. Just wondering if there was a way to fix this since I frequently read posts by clicking on them in that part. I believe it showed at least 10 posts before this. Thanks

I just uploaded few pics into the image gallery here and noticed "Gallery Image" button while replying to a thread. I clicked on the button, but I get a new window with the following message and I can't get at any images. Am I doing something wrong? Fatal Gallery2 Error: Cannot get the Gallery2 ID for this file. Is there anyway to have images in the post automatically resize to the width of the page (as opposed to spilling beyond it)? Not usually a problem when I'm using my desktop, but I do most of my browsing on my lappy where the screen is wee bit tiny.

Some of the threads are just massive, and an in thread search feature would be nice.

I thought maybe head-case users can join it if you want. I don't IRC much but it could be nice for chats/questions etc. Any suggestions?
