First, let me say this is not that big a deal, I'm just a bit curious about the following. I don't know if I'm just doing something stupid with Fire Fox, but for whatever reason my Head Case toolbar bookmarks (the drag-able ones) always loose the HC favicon after visiting another site that has favicons. Same deal with regular old folder bookmarks. So if I go to Headfi from Headcase, my bookmark reads 'Head Case' but features the Headfi favicon. Usually coming back seems to replace it again. As far as I can tell this doesnt happen with my other bookmarks. If it does, it is far less frequently, as I have never noticed it. ----- I don't know if its just m…

According to the Forum software, the most users ever online was 2,308 on 06-29-2009 at 01:48 AM. Is that correct? Was that an attack?

Added a small feature today, now if you click on a username in a post there's a new option in the drop-down menu that lets you PM the user quoting the post in question. Screenshot attached

Maybe we could have a theme for those of us who surf regularly on a mobile device such as a smartphone or ipod. Couple seconds on google brings up a simple vbulletin theme that could work: Mobile, Cell, Phone, PDA, iPhone Style - vBulletin.org Forum

I noticed that I am getting the alt string rather than the icon for being a subscribed to a thread. So I took a look at the http source to find the URL for the gif. It's http://www.head-case.org/forums/images/misc/subscribed.gif. When trying to view the gif directly with that URL, I get a File Not Found error. Since everything else is working for me, I assume that something has happened to this link. Is anything wrong there?

Is it possible to change smiley code from
to something else? Every time I put a date
(1978) or (1988) it changes to this (1978). Some goes for listing items 1) 2) ....
Looks like this 1) 2) ... Not a big deal but can be frustrating when you notice this after editing time expired.

Is there an easy/possible way to print out a multiple page thread? For instance, if I want to print out the entire Stax thread, I can choose printable view, but it still results in having to print out multiple pages individually. How can I print out the whole thread in one fell swoop?

I'm not sure if anybody else would want this but I for one really would like to too see it. It's so disheartening to see something you want in the first post only to find out it was sold 11 posts down. If this forum software will allow it, please make it happen. so I can go from TO

I'm thinking -- since we have so many people that know so much about food and whatnot -- that we should have a whole culinary sub-forum. And not sure, but maybe we should move drink in there, too. Anyone second the first? Thoughts on the second if so?

Another forum I go to just implemented a edit history type thing where anyone can see if a post was edited and what the post looked like before it was edited, sort of like wikipedia. I'm not completely sure if the forum software here could implement it but it would be pretty cool to have that feature available and increase the edit window a little more

I've had this problem since yesterday morning. Trying to check PMs brings up a blank page. On Firefox and IE. A few minutes ago the top part loaded but there was an error line at the top. Unfortunately I wasn't able to copy it. Now it goes back to the blank page.

For some reason when I embed a gallary image I cannot get the flash-based imaged viewer to load the image when I click on it. Can others view my images, such as this one: http://www.head-case.org/gallery2/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=2437&g2_serialNumber=2

Some of the threads are just massive, and an in thread search feature would be nice.

Ok so we can now add custom fields in user profiles. I'm thinking we'll do a few standard ones for people to put their gear in but I'm open to suggestion on some other fields we could add. I added one already "Headphones & Speakers" you can see @ profile -> forum profile information

First, is there a way to get the negation character from British keyboards to display on the forums. Its the one hat looks like a sideways L. http://www.thismanwillkillyou.com/bimf/Head-Case/TEH-KEY.jpg Dat wan. I miss not being able to use my favourite smilie. Also, because of the way that images larger than the width of the thread display get the right hand sides cut off and one has to either post a small picture or scroll, could there be an [imgw][/imgw] option made available, which would automatically resize larger pictures to the thread width, and then if you click on them, you get a new tab/window with the full size picture in it?

I thought maybe head-case users can join it if you want. I don't IRC much but it could be nice for chats/questions etc. Any suggestions?

I am offended by the music forum being placed under the "entertainment" category, being lumped in with transient garbage like TV and video games. It'd make more sense to name the category "Arts & Entertainment" or something.

Just a thought that popped into my head that I wanted to throw out there before I did any deep thinking on it. We get onto new headcasers a lot because they suck. Other forums I frequent have a "new members" forum where newbies can go to introduce themself, or make their forum debut. You know, "New Members", with the subtitle, "Introduce yourself here", something like that. Might help us become aquainted with newer members a little bit, and maybe get used to their smell as well. Any thoughts?

In a recent thread of mine, a few simple diacriticals were omitted, like an umlaut over the lowercase letter "A". Does the current forum software allow adding additional character sets? It's a rather minor complaint, but it couldn't hurt.

Show own posts appears to be broken beyond page 1. I tried it by clicking my own profile and nate's, and they don't appear to be working, neither. Firefox 2.0.0.11 on Windows XP SP2+.

Non-ASCII characters change to question marks in posts made in HC. I see that this was brought up once in the PPA v. M^3 thread but I didn't see an answer from the admin. I also experienced the same thing when I tried to insert superscript 3 character in my sig. Is this issue on tkam's radar?

Is there any way we can keep the Search, User , Permission and Article boxes to the right with the Recent, Stats and Shoutbox? On my laptop, and especially on my smartphone, having the actual topics narrowed so much by having features on both sides has made browsing more difficult. It's much easier, for me at least, if the forum topics and actual threads stay left-justified so I don't have to scroll over for everything. Thoughts? Anyone else having an issue with the new layout?
