Hi. I noticed that I can not search posts by User name, and also can't post in the classified section. How does one get access to these features? Thanks.

According to the Forum software, the most users ever online was 2,308 on 06-29-2009 at 01:48 AM. Is that correct? Was that an attack?

how about a forum for ME, we'll call it "postjacks paradise yall" and basically we only talk about COOL shit in there. basically i make the rules and all the talk is cool stuff only. no lame stuff will be allowed in there. headcase is already a great place, lets make it a greater place!

It would help if you could type in to go directly to a particular page rather than having to advance a couple pages at a time. Maybe that's already available but I haven't been able to access it.

I am offended by the music forum being placed under the "entertainment" category, being lumped in with transient garbage like TV and video games. It'd make more sense to name the category "Arts & Entertainment" or something.

Got an interesting issue here. When I navigate to the head-case.org front page my browser (chorme) always thinks that I am logged out. I can't get to my PM's from the front page without logging back in. What is strange is that even I show up as logged out on the front page, once I drill down to a specific thread or sub-forum I show up as logged in. I've tried clearing cookies and it doesn't seem to solve the issue. I also meant to put this in the existing "Keep getting logged out of HC" thread but I can't post a reply there. Do I need elevated privileges to respond to threads in the "Suggestions" sub-forum? Thanks!

Some of the threads are just massive, and an in thread search feature would be nice.

Added a small feature today, now if you click on a username in a post there's a new option in the drop-down menu that lets you PM the user quoting the post in question. Screenshot attached

Hey everyone, I've been planning to add a number of features like a portal integration and also an integrated photo gallery for awhile now. One of the reasons why I've been hesitant to do this is that I know many of the members like the current ability to use any of the installed themes and switch between them on their own. To add the portal and gallery features the ability to choose your own theme would have to go away. Everyone would be forced to use the same theme. Are these features something that you would be interested in? Or would you rather have the option to choose which theme you use? Somebody should build a super special like gears for a special sales action. So head-case can get all rich, and we feast off the bounty.

Ok so we can now add custom fields in user profiles. I'm thinking we'll do a few standard ones for people to put their gear in but I'm open to suggestion on some other fields we could add. I added one already "Headphones & Speakers" you can see @ profile -> forum profile information

I was trying to search for posts containing "m^3" and all I got was posts with the letter m and the number 3. I tried it with quotes but didnt help Suggestions?

I noticed the "recent posts" part at the bottom of the page got a lot smaller today after the upgrades. I reset my theme back to Ig-Oh (or default) which is what I normally use and the recent posts bar is much smaller than it used to be. I can't find a setting to make it so it shows more posts. Just wondering if there was a way to fix this since I frequently read posts by clicking on them in that part. I believe it showed at least 10 posts before this. Thanks

I noticed that I am getting the alt string rather than the icon for being a subscribed to a thread. So I took a look at the http source to find the URL for the gif. It's http://www.head-case.org/forums/images/misc/subscribed.gif. When trying to view the gif directly with that URL, I get a File Not Found error. Since everything else is working for me, I assume that something has happened to this link. Is anything wrong there?

Is it possible to change smiley code from [/php] to something else? Every time I put a date [php](1978) or (1988) it changes to this (1978). Some goes for listing items 1) 2) .... [/php]Looks like this 1) 2) ... Not a big deal but can be frustrating when you notice this after editing time expired.

The pinned thread “post pics of you builds” has disappeared or at least I cannot see it.

Is there any way we can keep the Search, User , Permission and Article boxes to the right with the Recent, Stats and Shoutbox? On my laptop, and especially on my smartphone, having the actual topics narrowed so much by having features on both sides has made browsing more difficult. It's much easier, for me at least, if the forum topics and actual threads stay left-justified so I don't have to scroll over for everything. Thoughts? Anyone else having an issue with the new layout?
