I had an awesome physical therapy session today. I am starting to get back to a point where I am getting a workout at PT (instead of just light weights and bands).5 points

I guess I am in the minority here because I absolutely LOVE the new Radiohead album. I have always preferred their mellower stuff and this is a whole album of juicy delicious mellowness. Can't stop listening to it.2 points

http://www.innerfidelity.com Also, seeing as how you copied and pasted your post from somewhere else, you probably already have located a better place than this for that kind of question. We appreciate the zeal with which you're looking for information, but all you'll get from us is sarcasm and inappropriate advice. That said, JH13s make fantastic workout headphones.2 points

That is awesome Todd. That is the real strength of the USA. So let me summarize the last week. Monday evening we flew down to Daytona. Tuesday, Karen signed her letter of intent and delivered her transcripts to ERAU HR. we then looked at a few rental properties. In the afternoon we met with the counselor for Peters middle school and got the paperwork started. In the evening the director of coaching for the Port Orange youth soccer team ran a special practice to evaluate Peter (The regular practice was Wednesday but looked like it was going to be rained out). Wednesday we got a cashiers check (harder than it appears when you are not local) and put a deposit down on the rental property we wanted (the rental agency was located in Alamonte Springs, halfway between Daytona and Orlando). We got back back and went to the real practice for the Port Orange soccer team. Peter will be playing for their U13 SuperY team, which is fricking awesome. Thursday, we hung out on the beach, chilled and then flew back to Charlston. On Friday, we received an offer on our house which we accepted. So if everything goes quickly we are out of Charleston by June 20th. Oh, Friday through Sunday we were dealing with his home clubs soccer tournament. Fuck me. I am tired just writing this.2 points

It's like a whole album of "how to disappear completely", but with even more melancholy, and more refined sound. If the individual songs were buried on the earlier albums they would probably be seen as "refreshing" gems, but I get the apprehension when it's a whole album of the stuff.... (disclosure: Radiohead fan boy)1 point

I agree that it's "juicy delicious mellowness", I just wasn't ready for that. I'll listen to it again when I'm in the mood for that.1 point

That was bad by the fan but the better team won that night. As a Spurs fan, I'm worried that the Thunder is starting to get themselves together. KD was so clutch down the stretch in the forth quarter of Game 4 and Kawhai & LaMacus were bad when it matters most. I wouldn't mind seeing the Thunder competing with the Warrior for the conference final given that it is likely will be more fun. Last night Curry was so precise from the arc...man he was so great in the OT and pretty darn lethal! Eastern conference is just so weak with bunch of bad teams for Lebron and the gang to roll over. My Halwks were not even competitive.1 point

I'm going to neck half a bottle of wine and give it another go tonight. Though chances are I'll give up half way through, finish the rest of the bottle and listen to the new Andrew Bird album yet again instead.1 point

I was pretty disappointed by the new Radiohead as well. It is better than King of Limbs, but that isn't saying much. In Rainbows was good, but nowhere near the groundbreaking statements that some of their earlier albums are. I also agree with Dusty, listening to it made me what to go back and listen to the Bends-Computer-Kid A albums from back when Radiohead really made their name. I'm glad I got a chance to see these guys live a number of times in college and law school. It feels like their glory years are a long way behind them.1 point

No shoulder washer with the SiC but be careful as the gap isn't so big. With the PEEK stuff I hand tighten as when you've done it enough times you know how far to go.1 point

With SiC I don't use any shoulder washer, just metal screw - torque set to 81 Ncm on the scale.1 point

Went to my niece's wedding last night. It had to be moved because the original venue cancelled with <2 months left, but the new place came through in spades! And it helped being closer to us. Many highlights, including seeing some cousins I hadn't seen in years. The new family is a blend of multiple cultures: we're Jewish, my brother married into an Irish family, and my new nephew is African-American. A simple but truly amazing ceremony, and a great party. Perhaps the oddest but greatest highlight: my nephew (bride's youngest brother) playing Hava Nagila for the Jewish Hora dance....on the bagpipes! This morning, we take my mom and Karen's mom back to the same venue for Mother's Day brunch.1 point

Went to a Minor League AA baseball game. Zoë was awarded an academic thing along with kids from other schools, where she took a lap around the ballpark. Her mom dropped her off and Xavier and I stayed for the game and had a blast. It was our first baseball game together, and pretty sure we made some awesome memories tonight. Xavier is the age I was when I lost my dad, and want to make sure we have as much quality time together as we can. Slight seat upgrade. We also had quite the dinner tasting menu over the course of 5 hours, including ballpark hotdog, pulled chicken nachos, Mexican rice, and some sliders. Amazing night sharing a game I've loved with my son. **BRENT**1 point

Thursday Lance fenced the former Russian Federation women's foil team member, and European Champion. Yesterday Lance fenced the University of California, Santa Barbara open foil tournament. The tournament consisted mostly of college students and adult fencers yet Lance took first place/gold medal. It was a good day.1 point

As a Laker fan, I totally agree. These last few years with Kobe getting paid ridiculous amounts as a send-off have partially ruined the franchise, though the FO has made plenty of other mistakes as well and then there's the whole Chris Paul veto thing. His last 60 point game was one for the ages, though. I am very glad they finally fired Byron "Tank God" Scott, took them long enough. Hopefully they will pick wisely in the draft and Luke Walton will turn things around. The losing mentality and complete lack of defense is ingrained in the players right now so it will take some effort. As to your second point, I also agree, but I think it's also because stars are now teaming up to form Big Threes and whatever you want to call them. It's only going to get worse with the huge salary cap bumps in the next couple of years from TV deals/ads on jerseys. The players simply make so much that they don't mind getting paid a few million less to try and go for the ultimate goal of a ring. There's so much disparity between the top 4 or 5 teams and the rest of the league, with GSW and the Spurs clearly dominating every other team. Yesterday's Spurs/OKC game was just embarrassing... I stopped watching at the end of the half.1 point
