Well the audio geek in me immediately thought - damping supports and cheap!! I am sure these would make exceptional TT isolation pods and any other use you could think of as well as being an absolute must for any workbench. ( check out the videos on rockler's website or you tube )

Those bench cookies look like they could have a lot of uses around the house. Do you know what is the material sandwich between the two rubber surfaces? Thanks.

it is a hard plastic of sort - seem to be strong and durable.

The guy in rockler had told me in the past that the military had started using these too, I guess I must have mentioned them enough to make an impression on the kids. Now I just need that workshop ;) ..dB

EDIT: How about a TOOLs thread? just did a quick search and nada - ??? really

Nice going Ian and congrats to your parents! Unnatural love for LB is quite natural. He's funny as hell.

It just arrived. It's more elegant than I expected, and pretty near flawless as best I can tell. I really like the design aesthetic much more than pics revealed.

OH, COME ON, I'M SUPPOSED TO LEAVE THAT ALONE?!?!?

If you know what's good for you. :)

A pair of the Clement 105 speakers for the office.

Would you please advise what type of material is sandwich between the two rubber disks? Thanks.

I wonder how warm it gets. I wonder what the rate of guns locking up is. I wonder...how much it is...
