JH Audio stuffs

I have Red Eye Red trans on the right and Black Eye Blue trans on the left. They look the same in person as they do (on my monitor) on page 5 of the "Sweet Ears" album on JH's facebook page.

  • So a while back I washed my jh13's and one earpiece had a hole so the drivers got wet. Decided I had enough, put them in a draw and forgot about them. A week or so ago, I decided to see if they could

  • I may be going on a limb here but I am guessing you prefer your 780p monitor over your friend's 4K Samsung. My brother in law had the same preference when he told his wife on their twenty second

Gimmiethecash - those are a very nice pair.. I almost want to do the blue eye blue on one side and a dark green on the other.

They received my impressions on Monday and I just got the shipping notification! Can't wait.

Sweet! What color did you go for?

Clear. Wanted to keep them low key.

Namaan, you will love them!

Hell yeah! JH13 are easily the best audio purchase I've ever made.

Cool, that was my reasoning too when I chose translucent black, low profile is where it's at.

That's pretty cool, though the pics don't transition well at the edges which makes it look like they are stickers, IMO.

I think they are like laser cut photos layered under the faceplate, but I don't know... but I do agree about them being "a little rough around the edges" on certain ones.

Congrats Naaman, you will love them. I luvs mine big time! They did a better job laser cutting the MOP/celluloid on mine so the MOP seems to flow to the edge and blend with the body of the JH13 real well.

I am liking the service at JHA nowadays. Ordered on Monday, earmolds at JHA on Tuesday and if the snow doesn't fuck everything up they will be delivered to me tomorrow. Much faster than the first time around.

That certainly is a good improvement. Last time was what, 2-4 weeks?

I'm thinking of taking a chance and going straight for the JH-16s when I get a pair myself. I need to find out if I can use the DIY earmoulds myself as finding an audiologist here would require trying to justify 4-figure IEMs to my wife, which I'm not going to go near.

Make sure you recable the JH16 with at least 18AWG cable, the stock cable might be too small to make the bass fit inside.

Be sure you get the right material - when I did DIY impressions a few years back the material was a medium-density foam, and I recall JHA's site saying they want silicone.

If you do try DIY I'll bet they could tell from photos of the impressions whether they're good enough.

I await Mr. DIY's opinion on this ... :)

UPS is not doing deliveries today so I will not have mine until the end of next week.
