November 4, 200916 yr comment_292420 I haven't spent much time with the HD600 and now that I've sold the HD800, the 650 sounds a bit boomy. Granted, it is headphiled, but I suspect it would still sound boomy if I were to replace the grills. Any thoughts re the 600? I haven't spent much time with it. And what would be a good price used? November 4, 200916 yr comment_292438 Oh yeah, I've still got the original prototype Enigma OMGWTFBBQ HD600 cable sitting in a drawer somewhere here collecting dust. I'll send it to you and you can tell me if I was nuts to think it made a nice difference. Report

November 4, 200916 yr comment_292445 So long as you don't get the K701. I say buy whatever you like on whatever whim you can afford. HD600 are nice. But SR-202 are nicer. Report
November 4, 200916 yr comment_292446 I can send you mine on an extended loan. I have a Blue Dragon cable that I think sounds best with it, plus you could play with the OMGWTFBBQ for comparisons. Report
November 4, 200916 yr comment_292448 I have fucking hated every Sennheiser I've ever heard. Except the HD600s. (oh and I haven't heard 800s.) Report

November 4, 200916 yr comment_292464 Take Al up on his offer and get JH13s. Then you can take the OMGWTFBBQ cable and re-term them for the JH13s to compare. Then you sell the HD650s and sell Al's HD600s with blue dragon cable, and sell the OMGWTFBBQ cable, and there's a good chunk of getting your JH13s. I have a feeling, however, you won't follow my suggestion. **BRENT** Report

November 4, 200916 yr comment_292474 IMO, HP1000 > HD600. Dew et! Well then again, I also think OII MKI > HP1000.... Report
November 4, 200916 yr comment_292478 IMHO the HD600 are the best dynamic phones under $300. Well balanced, resolving enough... not many flaws to criticize. However coming from true high end phones, one can be missing a few things. I like them better than the HD650, I find these boomy too Report
