Nothing. There wasn't a single DAC present at this meet.

every rig in attendance was run off a reel to reel playing Robert Johnson's "Me and the Devil Blues" over and over.

I don't think any of us care at all really.

HF is now possibly the least useful site for me on the entire fucking Internet.

haha :)

I got some solid time on the T2 today after hours and it is, without question, efiing amazing. So fast, so dynamic, so damn good.

Just to be sure, this was with the O2 mk1, correct?

Glad you guys are having fun, I'm certainly jealous.

I figured out i would say something about the heat on the T2 and the knob. The amp is happy to run all

day long, and as many of you have found out, it gets rather hot.

My stupid idea of machining a one piece volume knob with a shaft that goes thru the panel with a

panel bearing causes the knob to get as hot as the rest of the thing. Not a problem at home as i

have it hooked up to the krell preamp, and control the volume that way, so i don't have to

touch the knob. But at CJ, i did not bring a preamp, and really none is needed, but to control

the volume you have to use the knob...

I'll be making the knobs a different way in the future.

I won't even discuss what someone did to my O2's...

Seriously pissed on this, Jim says i should make an insurance

claim.

Alex cavalli spent about 30 minutes listening to it, and said he

really liked it, but thought that few were capable of building the

thing.

You know I'll help in any getting the SR-007 back up spec. :))

As for the T2, if you can follow the markings on the board then you can build it.

Hi I wanted to thank everybody this evening for being so welcoming to the "new guy" at the restaurant and after the light jazz music gig. You guys really are grea and it was awesome meeting a lot of you in person! Tapatalk is great btw...thx Vicky

Who the fuck goes to a headphone meet/show with wet hair? unbelievable ....

When I first read that I thought it was a joke...

I'm surprised the other organizers aren't scraping the fucker off KG's room floor.

I felt super bad for KG especially since most people wanted to hear the T2 with the O2 headphones and all there was to listen to was the 404s :(. But yeah that dude who screwed them up should be tracked down!

why is there no impression thread on hf?

No kidding! I couldn't find one at all. Gave up. Thank God for Head Case! Woo! d-_-b

I'm surprised [someone isn't] scraping the fucker off KG's room floor.
Or that he didn't get electric shock therapy -- I mean, really, do people really not know the dangers of said combination? Some things just bear repeating. Everyone should put on their sign for tomorrow -- "no wet or greasy hair!"

I wasn't me -- I don't have hair to get wet.

Indeed!

I was expecting stories of the lights in the room flickering when the T2 was switched on. ;)

I'm a bit surprised that, as well as the "quiet" rule, there wasn't one about no wet or greasy hair. Of course, people ARE stupid and don't think.

Kevin, it was raining outside. Maybe that was the cause? Will it be ok when it dries out?
