I'm supposed to be on a date right now, the first one in well over a year, and even with someone I might like. I'm not as I'm still working. Not happy.

I have been on some dates where I would rather be working... I suppose that doesn't help.

Technically yesterday, but tried to migrate pertinent files/info from my broken-LCD MacBook to my MBP, only to find that I've lost my FW800-FW400 adapter. This, of course also means that I can't process (or easily import, for that matter) my photos as I was planning on doing later today as my stupid external drive only has FW400 and USB type B port, the cable for which I also don't have. Argh. If I'm lucky, one of the local stores will have an adapter, though I highly doubt it.
