Donor has been pretty active in the "for sale" areas on Head-Fi. Well, turns out our boy donor is pulling a fast one on us. He runs the headphone product review site www.headphonesrock.com. He talks to manufacturers to get review samples and then turns around and sells them to folks here. We just caught him red handed. He had the gaul to have us ship the unit directly to the buyer saying the buyer was a reviewer ... which of course he wasn't. Un-friggen-believable! I couldn't find anywhere specific to brag about my awesome girlfriend who played Santa this year. I received a big kiss and a littman stethoscope. It was the best present ever and extremely thoughtful. I feel guilty accepting it as i know it cost her a small fortune and I'm not sure I'm worthy of such a nice instrument. Anyhow, I've been playing with it all evening and it is so much fun. What did Santa bring you this year (if you already know)?

Here's the deal: Many of you know I've been looking for work for a good while. This company (Liberty National Insurance) has been recruiting in my area, and the spiel is enticing. Follow the plan, do the legwork, work hard, get well compensated. I've read pros and cons about this place (not unlike many/most places out there), and it's obvious some people can't hack it, and some don't get good trainers, and it just doesn't work for everyone, and that's fine. I'm just trying to figure out if anyone has any first/second-hand knowledge of the firm, and those thoughts. I know some may take offense at what I'm about to post and others will simply ignore me, but it's something I must say/post. To every poster here who's using/abusing drugs/alcohol....I beg you....please get help before it's too late. If you haven't started but are considering taking that step....run as hard and as fast as you can in the other direction. You have no idea what lies ahead if you choose this path....no idea at all.
