So, I thought my Christmas shopping was done, but turns out my brother already owns the first thing I bought for him. I now want to get him a basic, all-inclusive, beginner brewing kit, and I've been looking around, mostly at Amazon, but I obviously have no clue what's decent or not. I'm fine with anything in $200 range or under. Any ideas?

Drop a few classes so I have a better chance of transferring to Curtis or Juilliard? Auditions are coming up in about a month. I'm currently taking 8.

I used to love visual brain teaser like puzzles when I was a teen and want to pick up a few however I can't seem to find a good resource that separates the wheat from the chaff. Are any of you into puzzles? Can you recommend some of your favorites?

We're mostly all grown ups now, with realistic ideas and expectations. Show us who you were when your goals and dreams were unhindered by caution flags and dead end roads. I wasn't overly unique, I wanted to be a rock star. Didn't matter that I couldn't sing. Yes those were my real teeth.

...today a co-worker informed me that she had bought five bottles of Flor de Cana centenario duty-free at the airport in Nicaragua. When she arrived at the states, customs told her she could only take two and that the limit isn't an airline limit but TSA's limit (though she did say the guy was a complete douche). This seriously sucks, as I wanted to bring back at least four bottles (two Flor de Cana and, if found at airport duty-free, two Havana Club, if not, some other stuff). The thing is, I can't find anything on TSA's website concerning the limit of bottles, and my coworker admitted that just three weeks before her husband had returned from Nicaragua with five b…

I thought you guys might want to be entertained by my short story I had to write for english class. Jesus Vs Godzilla All that could be heard was the sound of waves sloshing upon the rocky shore. The sun was rising in the Land of The Rising Sun, bringing light to another busy day in Tokyo. But this day was different. The sea floor rumbled ominously, and what looked at first to be a tsunami was actually a natural disaster of far more epic proportions. The scaly green monstrosity arose and began to stomp towards the city, Godzilla was ready to unleash his mighty wrath on the Japanese city yet again. "Gojirraaaa!" shouted the stereotypical, badly dubbed citizen…
