Naples Mini Meet on January 7th, 2010: Ron (HiFlight) and I exchanged a couple of PMs and decided to get together to try each other’s new gear. I am on vacation and going on a trip so I decide to take a small detour to Florida’s west coast and meet with Ron in Naples. This is our first full year, legally, as the Atlanta Audio Club, and once again we are honoring our commitment to support Southeastern Region headphone enthusiasts. I posted an interest check on the other site for a Montreal mini-meet, but I thought it might be a good idea to ask people on the Dark Side too. No details on the "when" and the "where" for the moment, just a quick look to see who would be interested. I'm not even sure if there are Montrealers here.

Just throwing out there that I plan on being there on Saturday April 14 and would love to hang with anyone. Looking forward to spending way too much money in the new “record shop” as my two primary online vinyl places - acoustic sounds and elusive disc - will be there. I’ll plan on stopping by those manufacturers of gear I own just to say hi and chew the fat a little bit (emotiva, wyred4sound), and even though I don’t have a uturn table anymore, I’d love to just say hi to uturn audio. So, I have tentative spousal approval to go to the bacchanalian shindig in ft lauderdale in early May. I know a few others are going as well, and a few of you even live down there. So here's a topic about it.

Had Colin (cetoole) over tonight because he was staying in Toronto for a few days. Had a blast at Turtle Jack's (best burgers in Canada bar none) and a good listening session at my place. I have no impressions because I have nothing new to say about my rig. Will post a few pictures and maybe Colin can chime in. Just want to say thanks Colin for showing up and hopefully the rain won't stop you from visiting again! Next time I promise a better stock of whisky too haha. I took Colin on a mini tour of house..
