Adieu old friend. Thunderstruck! When we met we immediately fell head over heels in love. You were shivering on the cold ground and I picked you up and put you inside my coat. You and I bonded immediately. A bond that can never break. Birds. Oh my, the birds we sought and brought home. Endless hours together both doing what we loved most. I still have my first spent shell and feather from your first ruffed grouse. So many happy memories. And the bond We were always one. Always together. Always a team. Always forgiving each other for our faults and rejoicing in our successes. One heart. One mind. Together. That, my friend, is what I will miss the most. I will miss being with you. I will miss your head in my lap. I will miss you slobbering on me. I will miss the glow in your eyes when I walked in the room. I will miss your gentle nature and intense drive to find those birds. Quest, you taught me what love is. Unconditional. Accepting. No judgement. Rejoicing in each other. I miss you my friend. I love you Quest. You may no longer be here but our bond will live on.11 points

Feel the same way. I go back and forth between both depending on the material and whether or not I can be arsed to get up to fetch the other set of headphones.3 points

Sam...the thing is ...you are not really getting the most out of the SR007. The SR007 out of the KGST is very good but it won't rival the SR009 unless you amplifier it with a BHSE. I can't pick a favorite between SR009 or SR007 out of the BHSE.3 points

Finally got around to aggregating this Into this (Although technically, it's more like this) Progress? I think so, the aim is to eliminate the "pre flight checklist" for Joanne.3 points

So sorry Al. You don't find that unrequited love anywhere else. Tell Quest to look for a devious little brindle greyhound girl named Gypsy. She'll show him the ropes up there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk3 points

13.5 miles today, but twice as much climbing as the last one. It was more on the road than the rail trail this time as well. I spent the whole time wanting to quit, so I guess that's a good thing (because I didn't).2 points

Just ordered a 6800 Compact crank in 165mm from Merlin. My chainrings are starting to look worn anyway plus it was only $180 so it's a worthy experiment. Now considering the closeout Stages 7900 PM2 points

This is what his spastic but effective style, plus Aussie heritage, reminded me of last night2 points

Shelly, we have smaller places here in California, together with high prices and the threat of Earthquakes. What's not to like?2 points

RIP Quest. Beautiful tribute Al. Brings a tear to my eye and instantly made me pine for my old Weimaraner BillBob. Great bonds last forever.2 points

Thank you all. Poor Nitro is confused and somewhat lost. No doubt he will be a different dog when he settles into his new reality just like Quest did when he became our only dog. I had no idea Quest had touched so many lives. Tonight I raise my glass to Quest. May your path be easy and your joy endless. Until we meet again. Skoal mate!1 point

I've been playing between the KGST and BH (I have 007 Mk I). For me, the BH has more balls especially when you use it with good tubes (XF2 for instance). I truly enjoy both and quite often choose the KGST, but if I wanted to show off for someone, I'd use the BH. I also have the KGSSHV. There is nothing wrong with it, but I don't enjoy it as much. I'm going to give the Carbon a go and I have some very high expectations there. It's all very subjective though.1 point

Since you mentioned Science, a quick search of the local collection led to some lunchtime listening. See if you can work out/ Guess the tracks ... EDIT:Album art because:tapatalk1 point

Very touching....RIP, Quest. I know your feeling exactly. I had a dove that I nursed her back to life after some kid attempt to shoot her down. I'm still holding on to her feather as well.1 point

Really sorry for your loss, Al. Our furry brothers and sisters don't get nearly enough time, but they know what to do in the time they have.1 point

Hmm, what was all that stuff about the Warriors walking away with the series when Kyrie went down?1 point

I wholeheartedly disagree with this. Nothing will ever match a check list completely so you'll always be disappointed, and no list is ever complete. Too much choice will drive you crazy. Our house is as unlike what we were looking for as can be, and we love it more everyday. Buy the place you walk into and just have to live in.1 point
