  1. Prime rib roast with bacon red potatoes, steamed vegetables, au jus, and stuffing (who needs to stuff stuff to enjoy stuffing). A most excellent meal. I may burst.

  3. Looking good, guys. The bacon was neither drowned in DC nor sugared/candied. I prefer my bacon straight up, no chaser.

  6. Nice. That beats my NOMOS ORION when it comes to German watches. Still, I can't wait for it to get here. In the meantime, I can't seem to peel the Grey Side of the Moon off my arm lately. I love it on the Dark Side strap now, making it a little more casual and sporty to suit my style better.

  8. since its Christmas, I will be nice. 1) your son is a fucking clueless idiot that has obviously not fallen far from the tree. 2) you obviously did not read the thread 3) The original krell board for which I have exact copies of pictures of the top and bottom of the board supplied from krell directly thru tom... The original krell board was hand layed out with film and tape on .1 inch centers. The left and right channels were not physically identical. My version made the left side identical to the original with each component exactly in the same place on the board. And each circuit land in exactly the same place except electronically aligned. Then the right channel was an exact duplicate of the left channel. So mine is actually a bit better. I just posted a new version of the board with teardrops enabled. 4 or more layer boards can also be done without destroying the board. You just need a large plate medical Xray to do so. And I have one.

  33. Wasn't today, but this weekend I was at a Game Stop store. Andrew has had $75 of gift card/reward $ accumulated, but he's not interested in any games right now. I traded some of it for iTunes $, which he DID want, and went to the nearest store. They used to sell iPods, and I'm getting a nice radio/dock off Craigslist tomorrow, so thought I'd maybe use the $ towards a higher capacity player. Got there, they don't sell them anymore. So thinking to look for a nice headset for chats. As I walked through, I basically said "screw this" and looked around the store. Cued up in line was a kid, maybe 10 years old, with some cash in hand. I asked him what he was getting and he told me the game. I gave him $50 worth of credit and wished him Merry Xmas. I then gave the last $25 to an older woman who just got in line to get a game for he grandson. Seeing both their smiles felt a hell of a lot better than a headset.

  34. Extended Christmas best Christmas. There was a minor flurry of last-minute watch buying and selling here too. Resulting in a decent deal on a Lange Saxonia manual. Very clean and classic from ze Chermans, I think.
