March 22, 20179 yr As somebody more clever than I said: First we lost Chuck Berry over the weekend and now Chuck Barris is gone. RIP Chuck. I hope you and Gene are dancing together again.
March 22, 20179 yr I randomly watched Confessions of a Dangerous Mind 2 days ago. That was a movie I love, and while it is what piqued my interest in the man, it's enough to make me wish I saw more of him. RIP.**BRENT**Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
March 23, 20179 yr ^This. Watching that show in the mid-70's highlighted my appreciation for a quirky, dry sense of humor. No one else in my family 'got it'. RIP Chuck Barris. Edited March 23, 20179 yr by jpelg
March 23, 20179 yr So much talent gone with the wind... RIP, Chuck Berry. Chuck Barris...well that was formative stuff for me. RIP, sir. HS
March 27, 20179 yr RIP the victims of the car atrocity in London on 22nd. The entirely home grown British citizen from Kent, married with three children, who after a host of aliases and violent past converted to Islam, hired a car and drove along the pavement at pedestrians on Westminster Bridge towards the Houses of Parliament. Got out and knifed a policeman to death before being shot dead. Total elapsed time, 80 seconds. Two dead at scene (including an American tourist), plus the policeman and the madman. One has died since, and many with life changing injuries. 29 casualties in total. Looks like he was acting alone, although of course ISIS has claimed he was one of their "soldiers". But that is precisely what they would say. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/03/24/london-attack-eight-suspected-associates-westminster-terrorist/ Edited March 27, 20179 yr by Craig Sawyers
