this is all about massive amounts of hacking including spoofing, mainly from sites in mainland China.

they never get into any of my machines, but they try so hard they are using up to 25% of our bandwidth doing nothing.

It seems like everytime I hear about organized ddos / hacking attempts, it's from China. 

I think it's a safe move to black list basically all internet traffic originating in china

machine on different subnet now, all should be fine.

Incorrect when open some files with DFN Now V7, not every files only few.

Is wrong setting in DFM?

There are other gerber viewers that work with the latest files.

soon I will upgrade to the newest version that does the X2 version of Gerbers with full polygonal and contour support and that will probably make a mess with many of the viewers

final dns change monday morning

machine will end up on  165.124.198.148

and dns will change a few hours after that

2/1/17 edit, final networking address, should stay this way till i retire

i have turned in my retirement notice, so my file server probably won't be up for more than a couple of weeks, get copies now.

i have a complete backup and will be moving to my own domain soon.

Kevin's house is filled with crap already so yeah...this might end badly.  He even complained when I was digging through his box of unpopulated PCB's that I was messing up "his filing system"...    Seriously though, I spent a week there and I doubt I saw all of it.  I think I have more headphones though...
