blessingx
Interesting and very curious. Against the trend concerning DSD though, huh?
nopants
they've been pretty open anti-DSD, especially in their yggdrasil thread
Torpedo
Cool. I don't need that shit, I don't need that shit...
Salt Peanuts
It's really tempting at that price, but I'd need a pair of open cans first as I can't use my Etys at home.
Dusty Chalk
Yeah, gotta give it a try at that price. I don't have any DSD on mah phone, anyway.
Sherwood
$79 is no joke. Buying now, with no purpose in mind.

crappyjones123
Would something like this help with not hearing the noise floor on the jh16s? There are times when I can't use my speakers (roommate in the apartment or julie studying nearby) and want to use the jh16s but the output on my desktop is noisy (as expected). postjack
Still no MQA support. I almost want to send an email to Schiit asking about MQA support just to see what they would say. Before ordering the Fulla I was looking forward to the upcoming Oppo portable DAC/amp, but Schiit beat them to the punch.
Grahame
"MQA support is limited to a user installable LED, labelled MQA , attached to 5v DC"
crappyjones123
Why not find out empirically? 15% restocking fee. I'll wait until they end up on the used market I guess.
Grahame
Or start a kickstarter / indiegogo project for $12 to answer the question. Problem solved, Internet fame awaits.
crappyjones123
After 1750% funding of soapstone to replace ice and the kid wanting to make potato salad, I don't think asking for $12 is a ridiculous proposition. PS. Fuck it. Ordered one. Would likely spend $12 on shipping/paypal fees trying to sell it if it doesn't work out anyways.

crappyjones123
Got an email back from schiit saying the dac was noisy with the grado gr10 which is not as sensitive as the Jh 16. recommended I cancel the order since it was not the tool for the job. Extremely impressed with their honesty. Will likely buy from them in the future. Edited December 7, 2014 by crappyjones123
Grahame
It may not be the product for you, CJ, but the manual and the FAQ's are good for a chuckle.
RudeWolf
Hold your horses a bit longer. Jason said that a certain amount of current production Fullas (Fullae?) have been manufactured with a wrong oscillator for 48KHz. I'd wait a bit until they get their act together.
