  • The Cherry is lighter than the speakers, but will darken quickly next to the window. I have a vented front plate coming for the top space. The cooling fan sits in that space, and is really quiet.

Ok, got a differential front end (balanced-balanced and balanced-SE) working today and zeroed DC offset on a whole lot more of these little modules. Seems to perform really well!

Picked the wrong time to upgrade Diptrace. The old licenses aren't compatible with the new version so waiting for sales to help me upgrade. I am pretty sure my old license would work on the older version, if anyone was interested in a "slightly used" software license :)

I went through the upgrade recently.  I think it took  couple of days all in.

I like the new version :)

couple of days for a software upgrade?!?!?  I'm reading that wrong, I'm sure I am.

Well, it is called "Diptrace" after all.

The delay is because you need to get approved for the not-for-profit version.  I'm not sure how much faster it is for the regular versions.

  • 3 weeks later...

So I wanted to replace the foam in my 007 Mk1 headphones.

I modeled them in up (I love having a mill :)) and here's what I got...

I love it!!!  I also need a mill...  ;D

Splendid! Nice work indeed.

I’ve a mill, but have to figure out how to make the model…

Thanks.

You need to get Fusion 360 and learn how to use it B)   It's from Autodesk and is free to individuals and small businesses.  It took me about 3 hours to model these.

Wow

Me want mill.

What type of mill are you using? Is it easy to use? I mean software wise?

Impressive just doesn't say it fully!
