Hopefully there will be no problems with the reliability as is widely reported. Although as I know it doesnt take more than 1 or 2% to have problems for something to be known as unreliable, so i hope it's a case of that. May try to stock up on parts if I can get them

Cool. It's a fine player but reliability is an issue as this might be a TOTL Sony machine but it's a far cry from the design of the CDP-R1, R1a, R10 and the R3.
