    Turns out the damage was a bit more severe than a bad cable. They could still be repaired for less than the cost of a new pair, but not enough less that it seemed worth it. So new Etys are on the way.

Have those of you who purchased the cases liked them?

They are no pelican case, but for $10 they're great cases. I like mine :)

    I think they're great too and I would absolutely buy them if I didn't have to spend all of my free money on clay.

    I mainly use Shun knives. You have to pay a lot more for the next step up. I pointed out the deal to my wife, who bought them for her father's birthday. In June! :P
