Wow Jacob, that sounds really weird. Besides fever, exhaustion sounds like a likely cause, but if you keep feeling like that on the next days, I think you need to see a doc and get some blood tests and blood pressure checked.

Great! Glad to know. Take care of yourself whatsoever, sleep and see how you feel tomorrow :)

Mike you should come visit swt61 and get rock crab. Perhaps you can get it in FL I dunno. Its amazing and really fun to eat.

swt61 prefers King Crab! :)

Wow, Reks, that really sounds weird. I'm glad to hear you are feeling ok today.

Feel better people.

Mike, congrats on 26 years with a wonderful woman.

I rode my bike this morning to work, but it's still there. We had a carnival for the alums, families, and patients, which was a blast until the end. I was the last one in the dunk tank, and first ball thrown knocked me in, with my bad ankle hitting hard on the bottom (wish someone had warned me to hold my feet up). I cannot put any weight on it at all right now, but it, otherwise, doesn't look too swollen, etc. I'm freaked because I've trained and looked forward to this charity bike ride this coming weekend for months. I'm hoping this is just a two-day injury. I'm going to be crushed if I can't ride.

Drove down to Providence for a weekend trip (children's museum, zoo, etc.). Now sitting at a hotel where wifi isn't free. I don't remember the last time I stayed at a hotel ("business" hotel, no less) that doesn't have a free wifi.

Most business hotels make you pay for Internet as they expect business travelers to have expense accounts so they do everything they can to exploit them.

That makes sense. At least we got the room for half the cost.

Heal well and fast Vicki! Too bad you weren't able to get all those insults in....

I'm jumping in and out of this thread and missing things. Congrats on 26 years with Gail, Mike! Nice going!

So sorry about the ankle, Vicki, that is a bummer. I am guessing you will feel better before next weekend, but take it easy in the meantime.

Congrats Mike and Gail.

Glad you're feel better Reks.

I'm feeling a bit better today but I haven't really done much either.

Shot my S&W 637 for the first time in several months, now that I've had the CT laser grips replaced.

I can't focus on the sites with my dominant Rt eye, after having RK for distance vision back in 1995,

so I shoot everything with a laser grip and both eyes open. I usually carry the Kahr PM but I

practiced with that last week.

I was happy to see 5 shots into 3 holes with Corbon DPX at 7 yards my first time out.

The rest of the shooting was about as good with 158gr match FMJ.

Also shot the Glock 23 with 9mm conversion and AAC suppressor. I don't have to worry about

hearing damage this way if I am forced to use it for home defense. This was 10 rounds in 8 seconds.

The Glock is definitely easier on my 50 year old hands, but it's a little bigger than I want to carry around.

I didn't shoot the PM9 because I don't like to conceal a dirty weapon until I get home to clean it.

This way if I'm around or witness another shooting I wont be a suspect if I didn't fire my weapon.

Is that just being paranoid? Maybe.

Get well soon Vicki. Hope that it's just a wee bump.

Congratulations Mike! Looks like good lobstering!

Alloa was great fun and good beer. BrewDoug is on back burn atm. I'm working for Tatlock & Thomson on a lab construction project atm.

Vicki, my fingers are crossed that you will be better for the ride!!!

Get well Vicki. Ice if it's in the last few hours, Motrin is your friend

Sending good Karma Vicki so you can ride next weekend.

Congrat Mike on the marriage milestone.

Huh, page 501 never showed up as unread, but I missed a lot there. Get well vicki, maybe an air splint will help and still let you ride with proper shoes and all? I tore two ligaments in my left ankle once and was able to walk within two days with an air splint.
