Anyone else think this show is just the fucking bees knees? I got into it this past fall. I downloaded the miniseries off iTunes because it was strongly recommended to me from some friends, and from there I was hooked. Watched every single episode until I caught up somewhere in the middle of season 3. I'm enjoying the new episodes (and for the record, I'm enjoying the Dresden Files which is airing before BSG on Sundays, but still not as good as the books).

My wife wants to go visit her great aunt on Bailey Island, ME, and we figured we'd make it a mini-vacation if possible. We're looking for a 3-4 day rental w/ internet access preferrably within a couple hrs drive of there and near the beach. Anyone know of anything? Needs to be able to sleep 6.

So, I thought my Christmas shopping was done, but turns out my brother already owns the first thing I bought for him. I now want to get him a basic, all-inclusive, beginner brewing kit, and I've been looking around, mostly at Amazon, but I obviously have no clue what's decent or not. I'm fine with anything in $200 range or under. Any ideas?

I hope you had a great birthday yesterday Antonio and that your wife showered you with gifts, wine. and love! I knew your birthday was this weekend when I was traveling and had planned to maybe post early on Friday night our time to get the ball rolling, but in the course of taking a redeye, dealing with decrepit in-laws, and other distractions I somehow convinced myself yesterday that your birthday was today! Oh well, you know we all love you and it's the thought that counts as they say! ¡A su salud!

I said I would post some pics so here they are I'm not sure where to put them here so I just made a new thread.. It's all shot on b&w film. The images are so contrasty because of the film I used most of the time, Technical Pan for those interested, and developed in HC110, dillution depending on kind of Tech Pan film I used. The scanner doesn't use dust correction for b&w and I was too lazy to do all the retouching today so you might catch a little dust.

I need some recommendations for an Android TV box. No Amazon products. I need it to replace a Tivo mini. I'm looking for it to support the Tivo app so I can stream from my DVR (tivo bolt), Netflix, Hulu, and prime and the upcoming Disney+ This is stemming from the app performance of the Tivo mini. Hulu, Prime, and Netflix all crash and Disney+ will not be available as an app for Tivo or through Amazon channels, or on Amazon fire devices so I'd like to kill two birds by replacing the mini with an Android TV device. Bear with me: so I get this coupon in the mail, and I flip it over, and it says that it's exempt on, amongst other things, Martin Logan equipment. Martin Logan? Since when did Best Buy start selling Martin Logan equipment?!?!? So I do a little searching around, and it appears they're starting a high-end corner in some of their shops, Magnolia Home Theater. No shit! They also sell McIntosh, Sennheiser, REL, and a bunch of other good shit. Oh, and Bose. What's next? Pigs flying? Cows coming home?

Did anyone else feel that Crash wasn't really the best film of 2005. I thought that at least one of the other 4 were better than Crash. Oh well, at least Philip Seymour Hoffman won an Oscar for Capote...he was brilliant.....IMHO of course

Neighbor's cats pee on my balcony and furniture all the time. This time, my wife accidentally left the nice canvas and wood folding chair on the balcony and a cat snuck up and peed all over it. So, I'm thinking, leaving out hot dog bits with ExLax hidden in it... Something similar to the squirrel catapult... Any other ideas? The crueler, the better. And preferrably non-lethal and quasi-legal.
