I need a new chair for the home office. The cheapo Office Depot one is just not giving me the back support I need (even with a lumbar support attached). It is too big. I don't want to spend more than $1000. I was looking at the Herman Miller Aeron and Steelcase Leap. I also considered the Humanscale Freedom but it is more than the other two and doesn't seem to be any better. The reason for the Aeron is because I am 5'2" and I can get the small (size A) one. Almost all other chairs are one size fits all with adjustments. I've tried the Aeron and it seems good. I cannot find a place nearby to try the Leap. Any suggestions/preferences? Anyone on the short side use…

Hey everyone, Earl just told me about this new forum this morning and I've spent the last little while reading through the Ruh roh thread, all 22 pages. It's funny, before I was talking to Earl this morning I was thinking about my latest run-in with the mod squad on Head-Fi and thinking someone really needs to start another forum where the good folks can hang out. Boy was I suprised and glad to see someone has done just that and it looks to already be getting a decent amount of traffic from some of the HF regulars. Well done!

I see in the forum rules that there are no "profane" posts allowed, but then I saw elsewhere where one or more members said "Fuck this, or fuck that - I'll do as I goddamn well please", words to that effect. So would that be a violation of the rules? If this was a legitimate site then it probably would be a violation, yes? The only reason I ask is because a friend of mine, Bob Fletcher, had his company taken over by the CIA so it was no longer legitimate and there was a lot of profanity.
