I have a pair of two year old, Sennheiser HD650's with the usual flaking enamel around the headband. There is also a piece of enamel that's flaked off on the back side of the ear cup joint. Pricing this is pretty easy. Here's the part I need help with. It will also come with a 1.2 meter Zu Mobius cable terminated in a mini. Sick I know but I just wanted to see if I liked the mobius sound and at the time my only amp was the SR-71. The mobius came up rather cheap and I decided to buy it. I will also be shipping it with the original cable, mini < 1/4 adapter and original box. I even put a fancy latch on the box for transport. How the hell should I price these?

Well, a couple of weeks ago, I had ordered a Thorens turntable from an e-bayer. The table (from the pics) looked to be in good order. I "sniped" the table at around $150. I was filled with excitement! I pleaded with the seller to disassemble it for shipping. But, alas, I guess to save money, he did not. When the table arrived, everything seemed alright. But I immediately noticed the idiot refused to listen to me when I pleaded with him to remove the platter from the main unit and pack it separately. So last Friday I get a notice at my apartment that says they're checking everyone's fire extinguisher to make sure they're all up to spec. No biggie. Cleaned up everything, left the extinguisher on the counter just like they asked... no problem. I get home about 6:45pm tonight. Never guess what I find in my lock? Their copy of my key... on their keyring... in the lock... my door unlocked as well. Guess I should consider myself fortunate that no one grabbed any of my stuff. Unbelievable. I'm gonna play stupid and let them think they lost it.

seems a little strange to me... 1) why in the world was the B52 picked! a person can put together at least 5 just as good whole rigs for that price. 2) um... how can a person raffle off something they dont' own? 3) at it's root, ticket holders are subsidizing the purchase of an amplifier for someone else, with little potential profit going to the charity. 4) Ray is getting to sell a 5K amp at full price, making more profit than any other party in this deal.

So I had to come back to Atlanta to do my transfer to a different store up in VA. Just my laptop and a pr. of senn hd201s. Then here comes the king of all friends...(that would be Purk) Brings me a pair of HD800 and HD650's. Sets up new software on my laptop, brings all cables and a nuforce converter, along with headroom desktop headphone amp/dac and desktop power supply. After 7 months of health issues and not being able to work, getting back in the groove was not easy. Having these tunes to come home to has made so much difference! Thanks just doesn't cover this much trouble and time he's put into this hook up. He's the best
