  4. I'm going to head in for a few days to see what's new in headphones but would really prefer to use it as an excuse to see some friends I miss and haven't seen in a long while. Any takers on a Head-Case contingent at the NYC CanJam in Feb?

  6. While on the subject of crappy dac's... I was sent some internal pics of the R2R Lampazitor dac today (Golden Gate I believe but who gives a fuck). Well let's put it this way, Single Power was better built than this pile of fail but what makes this utterly glorious is the actual dac... So this is a multi thousand $ dac and what does the actual conversion... a Soekris DAM1021 diy module. Yup... output directly off the end of that, fed into a relay volume control (again a DIY off the shelf module) and into what ever the fuck those tubes do. I'm waiting for permission to post the pics but this is utterly retarded...

  7. I'll try my best to make it, but can't make any promises because something always seems to come up last minute. If I'm actually in town that weekend, and someone really needs a place to crash and doesn't mind sleeping on something not much better than the floor, then hit me up.

  9. Upgraded the rig with 4 Aurasound shakers (for 4 corners/wheels) and Lapai amps running SimVibe. So awesome. The feedback is particularly good in Project Cars.

  21. The differing voltage will effect the overall theoretical headroom of the amplifier since they directly set the B+ of the power supply. But unless you're using the Power for something crazy it shouldn't really matter. I don't think you can really "over-volt" the Power with any of the options you've posted. Bottom line, I don't think you can put a "wrong" battery in there as long as it produces somewhere near 9V.

  22. Thanks Mr. Tyler. I have some cooking skills. I fry rice in butter (real butter, not market one) for a short while, that makes rice so delicious. I can cook some traditional Turkish dishes but, I'm better at all kinds of meat, fish and kebabs (everything goes well with raki) And of course living in a small, rural town has it's own benefits. Meat, chicken, dairy producs, vegetables are all fresh and natural here. I'm going to miss that part of living here. And Mr. Tyler, I forgot to add, If you'll be avaliable, we can cook/bbq, eat and drink rakı together.

  27. So, pots are in (this is just one of several boxes. Lots of pot...). So far, I've tested all 4CP-601's. I've tested them for channel imbalance when used as voltage dividers in balanced configuration, i.e. the difference in voltage output between the combined output from the first two channels, and the combined output from last two channels. Maximum tracking error in this config for all pots is around 2-3%. However, that 2-3 percent only shows up at the high output levels ( think last quarter of pot range towards full volume). Below that, tracking error is 1 % or less. With the usual reservations for unknown errors in test setup and/or my math, my conclusion is that we got a fine lot of pots this time around. Should you find otherwise when you get your pots, we'll work it out with TKD. I'll ship the US destined pots to mwl168 tomorrow for further distribution with boards in the US, and when the pot boards from mwl168 get here, I'll commence the non-US distribution.

  29. To the OP, ignore these idiots, I will help you. (Shame on you guys.) First, in the genesis hole of the toad three times of course to be finding out expeditiously basset hounds. Then, on fourth and one go for it. Plus, you never know when you might need avocado and fish eyes lady fingers. But most of all, and I can't stress this enough, the bass will become electrical sockets and oopsy daisies if you don't. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to upside down cake on the flip side.
