  1. Survived. Felt pretty great for the first 70, battled leg fatigue for the last 30 or so and finished relatively strong.

  7. continuing like that, you soon end up wearing a beret, eating fois gras, smoking two packs of Gauloises each day and driving a Renault 4, while complaining about the englishmen ...
  8. I made coffee for myself for the first time ever. I used a French press. Man, that's almost as easy as instant.
  9. Went out to an Audi Cars and Coffee this morning up north where we are looking to move. Decent turnout. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Lunch. Home grown tomatoes, Claire's kale pesto and mozzarella. Wished I had Mikey bread but had to make do with Josie Baker.
  11. Two or three years ago I bought a ceramic burr grinder. And either use a French press or an Aeropress. I've also got a milk frother. And oh man does that make killer coffee. Good luck on your way to coffee nirvana Dusty! Not as expensive a fixation as audio, but distinctly addictive all the same.

  17. Wow, 17.2 average with 6,155 elevation for a century is great!
  18. Espresso is much more the process than the beans, but espresso roast coffee is indeed tasty in a French Press!
  19. I love the first Quattro….
  20. Espresso roast beans in a French press won’t taste like espresso . But I’m sure it’ll be good.
  21. Indeed but we can always find new angles...
  22. I think I’ve done some real progress with twin input tube grounded grid. The board will be made with a CNC router. The red lines show the route for the end mill, 15mil or 0.38mm with 0.5 overlap so each cut is down to 7.5mil.
  23. Tomahawk. Usual for scale. And then for dessert ...
  24. Snake River Farms Wagyu Korean boneless short ribs. Kind of a mouthful. Or, at least, I hope it will be.

  28. Jose, when I read the badge my brain saw "El Pino Terror" (the horror pine) and I thought "what a climb must be that"
  29. Lunchtime ride ... Has that "making the jump to lightspeed" quality
  30. you need to explain that in European notation 1.432m is one thousand and four hundred thirty two meters, not one point four hundred
  31. Ok, it is official...shit has gone crazy!! https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/u220740177 So that's the super rare SR-2 which Stax never officially made...for 4k$. There was an epic bidding war right up to the last second. I felt I overpaid for my set when I paid 250$ for it...
