January 4, 201511 yr Fuck. RIP Stuart Scott. http://espn.go.com/espn/story/_/id/12118296/stuart-scott-espn-anchor-dies-age-49 As someone who grew up watching a lot of late-night college hoop and Saturday mornings with SportsCenter this is just super sad.
January 4, 201511 yr Very sad about Stuart. I had been wondering about him lately... hadn't heard much since the ESPY's. A few weeks ago I was watching some post-game coverage with ESPN's current NBA crew and they said a few blessings for him. RIP

January 24, 201511 yr Author RIP, Mr. Cub, Ernie Banks.http://abc7chicago.com/news/ernie-banks-mr-cub-dies-at-age-83/488920/
January 24, 201511 yr ^^ Yeah, Ernie was was was a class act. Too bad he never played in or saw a Cubs World Series.
January 24, 201511 yr That's a part of my youth right there. Mom is still a Cubs fan, but I remember Ernie from my youth. Such an always up, positive kind of guy. Weird that this one is hitting me a little hard. I can remember watching him foul off 5 - 10 balls in a row, just measuring up a pitcher to then hit one out of the park. So good in his prime. So maybe I need to go to Wrigley this year on a warm, sunny day and think "let's play two today!" Edited January 24, 201511 yr by Absorbine_Sr
January 24, 201511 yr Yep this royally sucks. Ernie was the best. Truly a class act and a positive role model.
