June 23, 20233 yr R.I.P. Bea. Dorothy's Golden Lab Bea. She turned 1 year old early this week then passed suddenly on Thursday. It's believed that she ate something outside that caused the issue. Poisonous mushroom may have been the culprit. Bea was the sweetest, friendliest dog. She was a gorgeous blonde haired, pink nosed ball of joy. I will miss her! Dorothy is devastated, as expected.
June 23, 20233 yr That is awful! Condolences to Dorothy. Godspeed, Bea.... We lost our beloved Maddie Jo after almost 14 years. I haven't had the hard to post... HS
June 24, 20233 yr Super sad, but Bea was in really bad shape and Dorothy knew that she didn't want her to suffer. I'm still in denial because I saw Bea when she was sick on Tuesday but it didn't remotely enter my mind it could be terminal. I've been at my brother's since Wednesday morning so I experienced this all by text and phone. 😢

July 1, 20232 yr RIP, Alan. I enjoyed many of his works, recently his role as Norman in the Kominsky Method.
July 1, 20232 yr The end of an era. That rye and dry humor...amazing talent. Godspeed, Alan, and thank you for the good times... HS

July 26, 20232 yr RIP Sinéad O'Connor, aka Shuhada Sadaqa, at age 56. Very sad. 🙁 https://www.irishtimes.com/culture/music/2023/07/26/sinead-oconnor-acclaimed-dublin-singer-dies-aged-56/
July 26, 20232 yr ^^^ Just came here to post the same, @Voltron. If/when further details emerge I would not be surprised if the situation only comes more sad. It was news to me that her son committed suicide last night. That’s an unimaginable level of grief to me.
July 26, 20232 yr From what I read, she did not want to be in this world without her boy. Tragic.... HS
July 26, 20232 yr Wow, this one hit like a gut punch.....RIP to an amazing person. I used to argue for her when so many were crapping on her for tearing up the pope's picture. Compare that to what was done to thousands of kids BY that very church.... Her voice was incredible, the passion of every song evident. RIP to a truly great one that did not deserve the bad she got. May she truly rest in peace.
July 26, 20232 yr You pick the musical personality that defined the punk/rock attitude for you. Taking on the church or Frank Sinatra it’s always been her for me. Like a lot of soon to be parents I started thinking of the music I wanted to introduce to our child. Beach Boys’ Pet Sounds and O’Conner’s I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got were one and two. Celebrate the beautiful. Tear down the opposite. Edited July 27, 20232 yr by blessingx
July 31, 20232 yr RIPeeWee. 😢 That makes me sad. Will the eulogies and memorials all say he was a comic genius who got a raw deal, a la Sinéad?
