What are you using to feed the M-Audio Transit and what is the optical (I am assuming) from the MAT feeding? I bought one a few Weeks ago and returned it thinking that the PS Audio Digital LinkIII would meet my needs for my office USB audio better and easier.

My guess is it's going to be similar to naamanf's build.

Yep, it will be the USB input (so a little surgery required) and I will feed the SPDIF output to SPDIF MUX and then into the Buffalo. Totally a ripoff of Naaman's build as it is just a great idea. I needed the MUX anyway for my other inputs.
