  • Turns out the damage was a bit more severe than a bad cable. They could still be repaired for less than the cost of a new pair, but not enough less that it seemed worth it. So new Etys are on the way.

  • That's because you're supposed to put them in your ears!

  • So the LCD3 Zebrawood showed back up tonight and I think I just bought a pair. Rob, you get the LCD5 and we'll compare and see if they're worth it, kay?

AMZN has the Sony MDR V6 for $50. The V6/7506 are lacking in sex appeal, but they are my favorite in-the-field working can, period. I've used them for DJing, field recording, film production, etc etc.

Nice! Have a buddy who's been looking for a V6 on the cheap, just shot him the link. Thx.

Congrats. Many times on trips with the Ety HF2s I've wondered why I didn't just stop/downgrade to them. Great bang for buck with the mic.

Thanks, Ric!

Are you going right off your portable player, or using an external amp?

Both, but usually only from iPhone for awhile now. I like to pack light and getting harder to justify carrying an amp or risk losing JH13s when traveling.

Just one thing, the mic has no real noise cancellation, so not the best in wind, noisy cars, etc.

Thanks! I was planning to not use an external amp. Glad to know it works ok that way.

Nice, Mike!

E-PL 5 and E-PM2 use same sensor as OM-D E-M5, very good IQ. I love my E-PL5!

Unfortunately they're not shipping the X10 to my place.

I got the Klipsch X10 for $85 on Amazon just now. My last pair was lost/stolen. They are great bang for the buck.

Unfortunately they're not shipping the X10 to my place.

That can be fixed quite easily Antonio. Pm me if you would like me to grab one for you.
