September 25, 201312 yr Anneke, Drive -- probably my favourite genre of music right now -- hard pop, for lack of a better term -- love love love that guitar tone in "The Best is Yet to Come" -- just perfectly underbiased fuzz.
September 27, 201312 yr Some good pre-2K stuff: Propaganda - A Secret Wish Agent Orange - Living In Darkness Area - Between Purple and Pink Chameleons - What Does Anything Mean Basically?

September 29, 201312 yr Pixies - Surfer Rosa MoFi out of Benchmark DAC2 -> Pico Slim -> JH13 Does not suck.
September 29, 201312 yr Author DSD stream > Playback Designs > Apex Pinnacle > Millett UC300B > OMA Mini System. Also no suckage. Edited September 29, 201312 yr by Voltron
September 30, 201312 yr Big Big Train, English Electric: Full Power -- basically, both the English Electrics plus another 4 (18+ minutes) of bonus tracks from this very British old school contemporary prog band concentrating on strong melody, harmony, and chord progressions. Not very hard at all, but not so AOR as, say, contemporary Marillion.
