October 23, 201411 yr The Flaming Lips cover The Beatles' Sgt Pepper. <3 I was able to get one of the final few autographed copies of the vinyl of this (should be here in November), but NPR has it streaming (entire album and individual tracks). October 26, 201411 yr I've already ordered the album, so it doesn't feel so creepy listening to it on YouTube:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sDQbJP0PxUM#t=49 In general, I like the solo versions better, although the orchestral version of "Say Hello to Chicago" is quite nice... and of course no Neil Young album is complete without an interjection of his lib politics and "Who's Gonna Stand Up" delivers on that score. October 29, 201411 yr Aphex Twin/Taylor Swift mashup ...and get this, it's not just one song, it's a whole album of delicious mashup sublimity. ...and I don't think he threw any goats into the mix.
November 1, 201411 yr still my all time favorite album. i only listen to it once in a while to keep it fresh.
