I heard bikes are hard to train.

Not really. I heard they even make wheels for that.

Leaving Las Vegas and I am not sad, not one bit.

I go to Vegas typically twice a year for the past 7 years. This year is the first time I won't be going, I'll be in SF instead. I kinda miss it in some respects, I enjoy the grandiose.

I would take SF over LV (or most places) anyday!

w00t! Just got a free ticket and photo pass (meaning I can bring my camera in to the fascist venue) to see the Shpongletron show this Wednesday in exchange for giving the club owner a few of my shots.

Messed around with my new Squeebox touch and the web interface for the server. These things are very cool.

I wish my f'ing electrician would come and finish my damn shed so I can start moving stuff into it.

Voted.

Hopefully we can overthrow this shitty conservative government.

Buh?

(wanders off to look up Shpongletron)

Shpongle (Simon Posford) playing live (DJing his own tracks, usually) surrounded by a ginormous multi-screen video projection system. The video artist is Zebbler Peter Bredovsky, who was the man behind the 2007 Boston "terror scare."

Sad day for Canada, now we have 4 years with a Bush-like majority government full of right-wing libertarians and religious crazies. Only 16% of people in Quebec voted for this government, shows how united this country is. :palm:

Drove to France. Figured I might as well play tourist while I am here in Germany. Visited the cathedral in Strasbourg which was pretty amazing. Makes me realize I need to come back again and stay longer next time. Had a good time chasing a Austin DBS down the A5.

I though about looking for some wine there but I didn't really know what to look for. If anybody has some suggestions for some here in Germany I am all ears.

Joh. Jos. Prüm Riesling Auslese Mosel Bernkasteler Badstube 2009, or anything Johan Prüm for that matter. Lucky dude!

Spending a few days with family in the cabin in the mountains in So Cal. Right now hubby and I are fishing at the lake. It is nice to get a little R&R.

My backyard office is finished :)

Excellent. Congrats.

No more undergrad classes. Break tomorrow for study day then finals - one on Thursday, one Friday, senior presentation Saturday, and two on Monday.

drove an hour before realizing I didn't have what I needed to do my work, so then drove that hour back. Picked up the cable, drove 1.5 hrs south, did 10 minutes of work, then got caught in rush hour traffic, so the return trip took 2.5 hrs. So 6 hrs of driving for 10 minutes of work.

Wat, don't they have a Radioshack near your work?
