This forum looks like the real deal. If I read another "FWIR" or "after 175 hours of burn-in" on HF, I'm going to vomit - not literally, but you get my drift. Yeah, pointless thread.... just venting. I like headphones. I have money so I can buy them. I'm interested in finding out more about electrostatics and the holy grail of headphone sound. I've bought and sold thousands of dollars worth of speakers, amps, dacs, and gadgets in the pursuit of perfect, affordable sound. I think I'm getting closer with headphones, but the journey has been trying with some questionable info/advice from HF. I enjoy the honesty here.

Figured we could use a thread to discuss fitness trackers for those of us trying to lose weight and/or get into better shape. I have a Fitbit Charge, I'm actually on my 3rd one (2 replaced under warranty) and today the button on it stopped working. It's nice that they keep replacing them for free but damn it's getting annoying. The build quality is just garbage. Any suggestions on a different brand or model to try?

Enough is enough. At first everyone had to get it out of their system which is fine, but this crap has gone on long enough. After reading through threads, I'm afraid to ask a question. Or state an opinion. Or look at anyone in the eyes. So just, hi. Also, I like music and beer and shotguns and stuff.

I'm curious - how many of you here have perfect pitch? For those who don't know, perfect pitch or absolute pitch is the ability to recognize a note that's being played without any reference. I don't have it personally and it's something that's been bugging me for a while... I mean, I listen to music everyday, I've been playing music since a very young age, both alone and in orchestras/harmonies, so I've been surrounded by music for as long as I can remember, but I still can't identify notes by ear. Some people have this ability naturally, others don't and scientifics still don't have solid evidences about the cause of this.

We'd like something that cleans well, vacuums up cat hair from our Olympic-class shedding specialists and doesn't require frequent repair. Anybody have a recommendation? Well, went to see a doctor today and guess what?! I'm fucking unhealthy. A dog is healthier than me! Big surprise. High blood pressure, high cholesterol, high triglycerides, 15lbs overweight, and the list goes on. Anyway, doctor recommended I completely de-tox my body and eat nothing but fruits and veggies for the next 2 - 3 weeks. The good - I can get better. The bad - I can't eat nor drink anything I like. I am so fucking pissed that I now have my family saying "TOLD YOU SO! etc etc". Anyway, any of you guys starting out a diet this new year? I hope to keep to it. Wish me luck!
