I see in the forum rules that there are no "profane" posts allowed, but then I saw elsewhere where one or more members said "Fuck this, or fuck that - I'll do as I goddamn well please", words to that effect. So would that be a violation of the rules? If this was a legitimate site then it probably would be a violation, yes? The only reason I ask is because a friend of mine, Bob Fletcher, had his company taken over by the CIA so it was no longer legitimate and there was a lot of profanity.

Found these on the train tonight, I noticed an FYE bag on the side of the window and seat as I went to get up. Nobody else was on the train when I got off at the last stop and nobody was at the station either so I took them. Can anyone tell me if these are real? Or fake? They seem real to me I don't know how to tell the difference between fakes. Pictures: Front of box: Back of box: Beats Stuff 1: Beats stuff 2:

So the other day, on Thomas Jefferson's birthday, some policy nerds went down to the jefferson memorial with their ipods to dance and celebrate Jefferson's birthday. Quietly. What follows is an interesting bit of irony: http://freethejefferson1.com

How hot is it? It's so hot... ...I am now eating baked strawberries (I only left them in the car for 10 minutes). Here's a science joke for you: ...glass melts. ...I'm not even working up a sweat and I'm working up a sweat.

So I went to Arundel Mills Mall today to meet someone who was gonna buy some hockey tickets from me. $80, which almost paid for the gas down there and dinner for my family at popeyes. I met the guy, sold the tickets, bought some crap at the mall, and then went out to my car. My wife points out that her window has been shattered, and that we're missing stuff. Turns out 5 other people in that mall parking lot ALSO had their windows smashed and stuff stolen in the 3 hrs I was at the mall. I had my xm radio, gps, and my wife's bag of knitting crap? stolen. It was caught on mall security camera video. It was a well lit parking lot. Odds of anything coming of that anyone?

Some people here seem to think I was a member here before and I am here to tell you that aint so. I signed up for Head-Case along time ago and forgot my password and gave up on it. I then spent a lot of time at head-Fi until I received an E-mail touting the revamped site and decided to come and check it out. I had to have a new password E-mailed to me and here I am. If some of you think otherwise then I just don't know what to tell you. My name is not hard headcase and I am not banned over at head-Fi. So anyway, I was thinking of buying an RSA B-52 and using my Pico as a Dac fot the B-52, how cool would that be? Just think of the expansive soundstage and airy smoot…

I'm considering converting my garage to a music/home theater. I am considering doing it with my brother in law. He is a pretty handy and with a good set of plans, should be able to do this with my limited assistance. I've been searching for plans online but I haven't been able to find actual plans and/or materials needed. I realize this will vary depending on size, etc. This brings me to my question. Is there anyone here that would be able to do a design for me? I would be willing to pay for the assistance. The garage is 20' x 18'. I am figuring the room would be 15' x 12' (could be a bit bigger or smaller). I want to leave some room for storage. Electrical w…

Our dryer is slowly dying. Anyone get a gas dryer that they really like or know models to avoid? I don't need any fancy smartphone technology shit, just one that works, doesn't break for a long time (or ever, yeah right), and get really really hot*. Unfortunately, they don't seem to publish dryer temperatures. I also don't want something with a steam feature. I would prefer to have a dryer with a detachable rack for drying sweaters, shoes, etc but that is not a necessity. Right now I am just looking at the top rated dryer at Best Buy. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olstemplatemapper.jsp?_dyncharset=UTF-8&_dynSessConf=3604863170801698822&id=…

Hello germs, I originally posted this topic on guttersluts.com but really didn't get the responses I was looking for so I figured I would come over here and post it to a less trashy(?) group of sluts. Ok, so I know we all love our stuff and shit but every once in a while we need to write shit down. My reason for writing shit is usually job related. So my hobby is collecting fine government writing instruments made by the fine handicapped people at Skilcraft. The great thing is they are free (unless your a tax payer) and most people just leave them laying around so it's easy to get a good collection. My day usually starts with me using a .5mm mechanical pencil to…

As much as this information I"m about to give you will elevate me to status that few people reach in their lifetime. I must insist that you refrain from being the groupies that you are and not rush up to me and ask me for any autographs or any such triviality for I just haven't the time to attend to the millions of star struck fans just like yourselves. Having the status that I now have is a terrible burden with already too much responsibility, I don't need the added stress of being pummeled by adoring fans seeking fame by proxy. I just haven't the time. So what is it you ask that has elevated me to such a lofty hight? It is simple. I just posted my first for sale ite…

As all of you have no doubt heard, Sen. John McCain just had surgery where they were able to get most but not all of a Glioblastoma. It's a very invasive form of brain cancer and the Senator may well have another big fight on his hands. While I don't agree with a lot of the Senator's politics, I've always found him to be a stand-up guy in a profession where that's becoming harder to find. He's crossed party lines to work with Dems on several issues, he's a patriot and I don't give a flyin' Fark what Trump said about him, he is a hero of war. I'd like to see Lil' Donnie endure 1% of what McCain fought through. So I send my deepest wishes for John to win this battle an…
