This morning I was watching "Wright Brothers: First in Flight", an interesting, historical TV show. I highly recommend it if you are at all interested in flight and/or history. After their first successful flight, they walked 4 miles to telegraph the news back to Dayton, OH. I wondered why they walked. It was 1903 so I can believe that they didn't have an automobile and there probably wasn't a suitable road for one on Kitty Hawk. But why didn't they have horses or a wagon? Then I remembered that they were bicycle builders. So my question of the day is "Why didn't the Wright brothers ride bicycles to the telegraph office?

Hey, before I forget again (Knuckledragger and I had posted awhile back) - we're all gonna start the big downward spiral in a few days. The next several months could be exciting so keep your cameras charged. A bit pissed I never got to hear the JH3A and was kinda looking forward to Apples next MBA, but I'm sure I'll be distracted, what with the gnashing of teeth and all. I knew your birthday was this weekend when I was traveling and had planned to maybe post early on Friday night our time to get the ball rolling, but in the course of taking a redeye, dealing with decrepit in-laws, and other distractions I somehow convinced myself yesterday that your birthday was today! I'm considering a scooter once I move to Sacramento. I had a Honda Elite 150 back in 85', and liked it a lot. I want something that I can take on the highway though, in case I want to scoot into San Francisco, or elsewhere. There are some really cheap Chinese scooters on the market, but they have horrible reviews, so I'm most likely going to stick with the well known players. Right now top consideration is going to the new Honda Forza 300cc, coming out in July. Any thoughts or recommendations?
