Happy Birthday Reksy! And Happy New Year!

My wife was hoping to do a fundraiser sometime this year for the American Cancer Society in memory of her mom who passed away about 3 years ago. Unfortunately I knocked her up and she never had opportunity to do any major event. So I'm stepping in and using the ACS Events tool to raise money for my ride on September 21st 2014. The event is the Back Roads Century (http://www.backroadscentury.org/). It's a moderate century and not as epic as some of the other people around here have completed recently but it still should be fun and I hope you guys and gals can help me raise money for a good cause. After the batteries in the laundry, I decided to check all the battery powered devices for corrosion/leaks last night. I have a tactical flashlight with CR123a lithium batteries in it. When I opened it up, there was black powder around the batteries. I put the batteries back in the flashlight, I tried googling this and the only thing I could find was black residue after a lithium battery explosion which seems quite toxic. I'm hoping that this is just carbon or something. The batteries work, although to guess this could be from the last pair when they went bad (they didn't explode either). Ok, so I think I've found my new apartment [will know for sure on tuesday], and I've been thinking over what I want to do with regards to my home theatre. Here is what I am considering: 1. Get a LCD or Plasma or whatever [flat screen, at least 40" WS and wall mountable] that has wicked upsampling and lots of inputs. Well - I finally finished unpacking last night and tonight came the sorting and rearranging of stuff. One problem - this morning - I woke up with very bad back pain. I tried the hot tub with some advil for pain but it is still there. Any thoughts on how to get it to go away beside going to a chiropractor?
