My new Droid rocks the boat. My iTouch feels a bit dated now. Will my iPad, yet to arrive on this New Year's eve day, feel just ordinary as the New Year's dawns tomorrow? Five years hence, will Apple feel like Microsoft, and Microsoft like National Cash Register? Has Apple just introduced us to the new millennium, only to find themselves running to catch up after showing everyone else how to do it?

Birthdays are broken on H-C right now, but I found while looking for an amp comparison. H/B/D, K/G! I always imagined you as the Great Cthulhu of headphone amps, lying alseep in the Class A City, dreaming of tube amp designs that would drive mere mortal DIYers insane.

I've always admired happily married couples, and enjoy reading their stories. Although I've never been married myself, I'd be interested in knowing how long many of you have been married. For better or for worse, I'd like to see how far we can get with a running total of years of marriage (past or present marriages). I'll start. 0 The next person can say 0 + 11 = 11. Allright guys, we have an issue. Morph has kind of been messing with our channel politics, yelling at us for banning spammers, linking whatever, and acting how we want. He's a good guy, but it's gone way too far. I don't know if you've noticed or not, but some people's auto-ops have been taken away... So we might end up having to pull a Reks and move it somewhere else. I have a pretty capable (but kind of empty) network going on, so we could easily move it there for the time being. Okay after finding this place just recently, and then jumping back and forth to the other forum (HF), I am starting to loose patience with the other place. Does any of those fuckers know how to use the search function. So, on the day that my damaged transport is picked up (yesterday) I find out that UPS has decided to play kick-ball with the beta22 that I shipped out last week. Now today I hear back about the damage claim to the transport, which of course they denied sighting "insufficient packaging" and "no damage to packaging". Oh, sweet. I guess that custom cut 2" thick foam inserts and double boxing are now deemed insufficient packaging in their mind. I'm curious - how many of you here have perfect pitch? For those who don't know, perfect pitch or absolute pitch is the ability to recognize a note that's being played without any reference. I don't have it personally and it's something that's been bugging me for a while... I mean, I listen to music everyday, I've been playing music since a very young age, both alone and in orchestras/harmonies, so I've been surrounded by music for as long as I can remember, but I still can't identify notes by ear. Some people have this ability naturally, others don't and scientifics still don't have solid evidences about the cause of this.
