I'm really enjoying this History Channel short series. Watched installment #2 last night and have learned a lot I did not know.

Considering the US Season 3 premier is 5 minutes away, I figured it was time to start this thread. I adore the UK version. I adore the US version. "Toby is in HR, which technically means he works for corporate, so he's really not a part of our family. Also, he's divorced, so he's really not a part of his family."

Less than a week away for Season five of The Office Here is a preview description of the first episode from TV.com My opinion based on that spoiler and Toby's replacement doesn't seem that interesting to me.

An international crime drama, based on a true story, most of which takes place in the 70's. 8 episodes on Netflix and definitely worth the watch IMO.

IMHO this show has just gotten better and better. It started out as above average and as the fan base grew, so did the maturity of the writing. The season 6 Premier was amazing and put the show right up there with some of the best of the new gen tv.

I am really looking forward to this show starting on Sunday. I downloaded the sneak peak on iTunes and it looks pretty good. A Zombie TV show could be a lot of fun.

OK, so I just finished season 3 of The Wire. This show has continued to impress me. Season 1 was probably the most immediately gripping, but season 2 was also fucking SUPERB, if a bit more complex plot wise and emotionally, and season 3 really provided a lot of closure from loose ends left over in season 3, and for me was the most emotional (yes, I got teary-eyed during the last ten or so minutes, it was really intense. You know like when the bigness of a story just gets to you, and you can't help but have a thousand emotions well up inside? thats what happened). Anyone else catch the new Tim and Eric that was on the 18th. Absolute comedy genius, all 15 minutes of it. I had to watch the new Casey and his Brother about 5 times in a row to get it out of my system, the poop tube skit was also hilarious. What say you Head-Case members? Top Chef is back! Anyone else watch this show? I'm a bit of a foodie and like it because they actually have real/legitimate chefs on the show. The first challenge was very appropriate given the setting and I thought the first elimination challenge was very revealing.

Yay, Season 13 has started!

Anybody else watch this. First couple of episodes have been intriguing, with a rather unique premise it's shaping up to be the few new shows worth watching.

I finally got the Blu-ray set for this show (just watched the first 4 episodes). The sound design is by David Lynch... I'm not sure if people with TV speakers are getting everything out of the show. Has anyone else watched it yet? I'm surprised by how many actors Lynch was able to get back. There are some big-name stars, too, but I don't want to put too many spoilers in here.

New season starts tonight on Spike. First three hours of new fights and then season premier of "Ultimate fighter" Just a reminder in case any MMA fans forgot.

I've only seen a few of these PBS shows but once you start, you can't take your eyes away. So far, I've seen part of the steam yacht, the Lysander airplane, and just a bit of the Ahrens Fox fire engine and I'd be hard pressed to say which one I enjoyed the best. When the fuck did V come back on? Last I remember, it was episode 6, and it wasn't due back until 2011, now apparently there are 12 episodes (I.E. 6 that I missed)?!?!? WTF? Also, I can't find the V thread.

Watched the first episode. Actually a fairly entertaining news show, though I am not sure about their accuracy on some of the stories. Definitely an entertaining way to catch up on some of the lesser told news stories. http://www.hbo.com/vice/index.html

Looks like COVID-19 is going to shut things down for a while. Has anybody watched the Vikings series from the History Channel? Looks like my kind of show.

Greetings my good sirs, I just wanted to share a series: Vinyl The story shapes itself in 70s' New York, around a music executive: Richie Finestra. Music industry, sex, drugs and alcohol... Pretty likeable things. I really like the story and cast. Bobby Cannavale (Main Actor), Pretty talented actor, I've known him from another HBO production: Boardwalk Empire. And the cast includes: Ray Romano, Olivia Wilde, James Jagger. Creators are really impressive: Mick Jagger, Martin Scorsese!!1!!1! and Rich Cohen. First Season has been aired in early 2016. Anyway, Just check it. In worst scenario you'll lose 10-40 minutes.

Let’s get this thread started. Anyone else excited for tonights HBO debut? Seems Lindelof both treats Moore & Gibbons graphic novel as canon/past and moves it forward enough to do his own thing.

Great first episode! I'm excited to see where they go with it.

I somehow doubt it's going to be off the island, if it is the show loses a lot of the mystery it had going.
