June 15, 201412 yr Just wanted to wish all dads a Happy Father's Day today. Busy day for us, brunch w/in-laws, a visit to my dad, a graduation party, and MAYBE a dinner out, TBD. My wife Karen comes into our kitchen, where Andrew and I are talking. She steps back into the hallway, and says, "Andrew come here a minute...." Being the 15-yo boy, he annoyingly asks, "What....?!" And I reply, "Mom wants you to sign my card...." Nice chuckles all around. I told him he better write something good or I'll keep beating the shit out of him. I'm not the perfect dad, he's not the perfect son, but I am so much in love with this kid!
June 15, 201412 yr Happy Father's Day to all the HC dads, old and new. It's a roller coaster, that's for sure. I try to enjoy the highs ignore (or at least quickly move on) from the lows and just take it all in.

June 16, 201412 yr Happy Father's Day, all! Had most of the family over which sent the kids over into overdrive. Fun but tiring day.
