Quite a while back, a head-caser mentioned in here that they bought a large assortment of velcro cable ties. Foolishly, I didn't save the URL. I have a whole mess of cables I'd like to keep sorted. Anyone got a suggestion where I should look? I'd like longer ties if possible, and the kind that stay attached to the cable. I know where to get that variety from a couple pro outlets, but the cost per tie is kind of insane for how many I need.

Velcro One Wrap, Wire Wrap, Velcro straps, Velcro Tie Wraps is one source. You can also go with the non-Velcro branded ones for cheaper as well.
