We are already making plans for increasing the curb appeal etc. It's going to be an awesome getaway house. Only about 90min away )

We were all annoyed the bank was taking forever to respond to the first house we made an offer on over a month ago. Now it seems that it was meant to be as ths much better house came on the market this past week and it's a straight sale with no bloody banks involved.

It claims to be a Sonance Dual Level DL800. The company is still around , but no details for this model on the web. I may give them a call.

It has a speaker level pass-through, but more useful to me is are the stereo pre-amp inputs ( from the rotel) 40-150Hz variable low pass filter , and variable gain

(The Dual Level refers to a 12v switchable second gain level).

So hours of fun await, annoying the neighbors ( ) finding the right gain and crossover to blend it in with the quads.

The Focal speakers are already out of the running. Showed up with huge imbalance between the two speakers. I have to set one to -4 and the other to +10 and they still need to be about a quarter turn apart on the volume knob to be any where near balanced. They are going back tomorrow.

They would be great, but 40k for background speakers in my office seems a bit extreme.
