Stopped at the Farmer's Market by my house.

Got some fantastic Finochietta, 12 month aged Artequeso Manchego cheese from Spain, some nice Pawlet cheese from Bardwell Farms and some Crottin cheese from France. Lots of dry aged steaks, some of my favorite Chicken Pot Pies from a local farm and assorted vegetables.

Does Colin know about your purchases? Some of that stuff looks like it's already pre-packaged for sous-vide-ing!

Great success! After failing to find Oogie locally for less than $110 (hello, gouge much?) I ordered it from a different local store ...for $71.

I paid for a Halios Bluering, the buyer decides he doesn't want to sell more than a day later when he should have already shipped. He refunds through pp on Wed. and I will not get the money back until Monday. What an asshole. My next move was to buy a Seiko Sumo.

Went to a somewhat nearby shop (www.healthybuffalo.com) and stacked up on what I call alterna-meats:

- Buffalo burger patties and hot dogs

- Elk patties

- Venison medallions

- Kangaroo, ground and medallions

- Buffalo jerky

- Wild boar sausage

Think that covered it....keeps the carnivore in me quite happy. Going to do Kangaroo medallions in a vidalia onion and fig sauce tonight (wife and son may do cow). May include some Six Grapes Port after the meal if the wife will join me.

My trusty old M5's died.

Since I still can't afford JH13's....

The MG7 supposedly has a newer better driver for mid/treble while retaining the solid bass. We'll see I guess.
