July 27, 20169 yr there are millions of these phones out there. Batteries have issues when mistreated. People mistreat them. Don't stress it. Pick the phone that seems like the best fit for you, and then when it becomes time to replace it, replace it.
July 30, 20169 yr Anyone install 9.3.3 yet on their phone? Worth doing? My new one is running fine on 9.3.2. I know there are some security upgrades but how important are they?
July 30, 20169 yr There's a greater risk skipping this kind of update than there is using it. I'm on the beta 10 tho.
July 30, 20169 yr I'm using it and it installed and is working fine, i.e. I notice no difference from the previous version.
July 30, 20169 yr Ok, so the security upgrades are significant... Can I still go back to 9.3.2 if I have problems with 9.3.3?

August 1, 20169 yr @shellylh, OnePlus 2 on sale for 10% off on Amazon right now. (270$) https://www.amazon.com/OnePlus-Unlocked-Smartphone-Sandstone-Warranty/dp/B015FZLA8A/ **BRENT**
August 2, 20169 yr At 249$ for Moto X vs 299$ for OP2? Sure. At 269 for OP2 and 399$ for Moto X? No way. 399$ gets a OnePlus 3, which is what I want, and competes with or beats the 700-800$ Samsung Galaxy S7. It depends on the day and the deal, but that's the cheapest I've seen that phone. **BRENT**

August 5, 20169 yr Not sure if there is an Apple Watch thread so I'll post here. I've noticed that when I take the Apple Watch off the charger in the morning that the back is warm to the touch (and is at 100% battery life). It does quickly cool down. This surprises me since I would assume that it would stop charging once it is full so why would it still be warm? I am concerned that the watch is overcharging the li-ion battery and it is going to lead to damage to the battery or battery explosion. Does anyone else have an Apple Watch and is theirs like this? Also, I just noticed that the magnetic charger (which sits on my desk), was plugged in and a couple of twist ties had attached to it (the watch was not attached at the time). Do you think this could mess up the charger? Something like this could have happened before too. Edited August 5, 20169 yr by shellylh
August 5, 20169 yr I think the way the magnetic charger works, you're going to get a little bit of heat generated. I wouldn't worry about it.
August 5, 20169 yr What about the twists ties or other metal object connected to the charger while its plugged in? Also, my watch turned off yesterday and I had to do a hard reset for it to come back. Do you think this could be a factor? Some people report that there watch is not warm in the morning.
August 5, 20169 yr I personally wouldn't worry about either thing, although I freely admit to not worrying about things generally. If you regularly need to do a hard reset on your watch, I'd discuss it with apple. I wouldn't worry about twist ties at all, but if I were worried about them, I'd remove them, and then stop worrying.
September 13, 20169 yr iOS 10/Watch OS 3 Update Day! I don't know why, but updating software on my devices makes me feel happy. Got 10 up on my iPad Pro and 6+ and Watch OS 3 on the watch. No issues to report.
September 15, 20169 yr iOS 10 - the one where texting got too complicated for anyone older than 25. All the new shit seems stupid.

I'm a lot older than you, and I've had no issues with texting. It is rather snappier than iOS 9 was on my 6S+, and I like the notification center upgrades.
