March 20, 201511 yr comment_677786 My eyes were drawn towards the purple. Mine are drawn to the photo/painting in the background that appears to be not quite level. I need to get some sleep. Report
March 20, 201511 yr comment_677793 Most excellent lunch with Colin. Think he took pictures. Afterwards retreated to my spiritual home ... Report

March 21, 201511 yr comment_677893 Awoken at 2:00 am by a commotion in the garden. It was the fucking foxes, fucking Report
March 21, 201511 yr comment_677896 And by foxes, do you mean...actual foxes or the british slang for hot women? Either way, pics? Report
March 21, 201511 yr comment_677917 Would be cool/odd to see pictures of either. Not in a sexual way. Well maybe not about the latter guess perhaps. Report
March 21, 201511 yr comment_677919 Yeah but foxes are typically wild animals. I was under the assumption that Stretch did not live in the wilderness. So if it really were fox, it would be cool to see them in an urban environment. The fact that they were having sex doesn't really matter to me. Report

March 21, 201511 yr comment_677937 You don't go outside much, do you? This synopsizes my thoughts on the last several posts. Report
March 21, 201511 yr comment_677991 That's not allowed anymore. But the foxes are doing their best to swing public sentiment behind a revival of the practice! Report
March 21, 201511 yr comment_678009 Replaced the driver's side mirror on my car, was a victim of the winter and slippery road conditions. Inexpensive (cheaper plastic housing, but Nissan's wasn't much better) after-market via Amazon, $43 shipped. Everything works fine. Happy boy. Edited March 21, 201511 yr by skullguise Report
March 21, 201511 yr comment_678012 Walked downstairs to go grocery shopping and, for reasons I can't even recall, took a look into the storage room. Glad I did, as the boiler was dripping hot water all over the floor and had already created a small puddle. I put a Solo cup under the offending pipe and it relatively quickly started to fill so I called the heater repairman who informed me that I'd be paying $200 simply for the pleasure of interrupting his weekend. Currently waiting for him to arrive to find out how much on top of the flat fee I'll get to shell out. I love spring. Report
March 21, 201511 yr comment_678013 Replaced the driver's side mirror on my car, was a victim of the winter and slippery road conditions. Inexpensive (cheaper plastic housing, but Nissan's wasn't much better) after-market via Amazon, $43 shipped. Everything works fine. Happy boy. Glad it worked out. A couple years back we did similar with an aftermarket and the mirror wasn't even glass. It was funhouse-like warped plastic. Sadly never attached to see how wild driving would be. Report
March 21, 201511 yr comment_678039 It wasn't too bad and my repair guy, who I've been using for 10 years cut me a break on the weekend service call cost. So I overpaid him and did it in cash. No more drippy boiler. Report
March 21, 201511 yr comment_678051 I went to the maui swap meet, then drove up to Makawao and then along the Hana highway back to Paia. Report
March 22, 201511 yr comment_678072 That sucks Nate, sorry but lucky you caught so fast, like when our pipe froze last Feb and I was up and was able to shut off the water before it did more than $2K in damage in 90 seconds... Report
March 22, 201511 yr comment_678095 Yeah, I definitely got lucky. The expansion tank had failed which is definitely something that can flood a basement in a short period of time. Report
