Its my junior year of college and I've been thinking of either grad school for biomedical engineering (which is what my major is right now) or medical school. In terms of requirements, I'm pretty set in either direction, but I need to study for the MCATs if I decide to apply for med school. I'm pretty set for GREs. I'm not fantastic in bio but I'm decent enough to scrounge a B+ in it So if youve been to med school (ojnihs, deepak) and can give me some advice, or if you know any awesome doctor jokes, please post them

Happy birthday John. You have good news and bad news. The good news is that you made it to the big 60....... The bad news is that you live on the wrong side of Australia. There's nothing you can do about the good news, but the bad news needs working on...

It's always sad to lose a member of this forum. But when that member is a personal friend It's even harder. Steve was a fantastic, giving human being. He departed too soon. If there is an afterlife, I hope you're having a great one Steve!

So far, for me, it's Ultraviolet -- most of y'all are going to hate it, but those who will admit to themselves that they enjoy watching a heroine kick some serious ass -- with guns, bullets and looks -- this is for you. Highly stylized looks (it appears that 29 out of every 30 frames have been airbrushed)...terrible CGI (I think Tron was better) -- but again, I think this was on purpose, since it's so consistent -- made to look like a comic book, perhaps?...total over-the-top violence (bullet-dodging)...Milla's naked butt...what's not to like? If you liked films like Equilibrium or Brotherhood of the Wolf, recommended.

For some reason I've been asking myself this question over the past couple of weeks and have enjoyed thinking about it. I'll preface this by acknowledging that it's an impossible question to answer and I don't expect anything resembling a conclusion to be made. I only intend to spark debate--hopefully. I whittled down my list to Chekhov, Beckett, Borges, Cervantes and Kafka. I finally settled on Chekhov for his ability to shape his stories on simply how we think in contrast to how we behave and ultimately how we feel about it. He distilled the human condition into it's most basic and most recognizable state seemingly without artifice. I haven't learned more about peop…

Born 07:51 8lbs 6oz 19.5" Everything went super smooth and mommy and baby are doing very well. It's almost strange how quick and easy things went (from my perspective at least, wife I am sure would say otherwise). Couple days to recover from C-section in hospital then everyone should be coming home. And without further ado......
