For those still buying audio gear, Ety ER4s over as Massdrop/Drop for $199. Along with the Senn HD580s, probably the most rewarding audio purchases of this long ride.
  4. In December/January I took a deep dive into rhythmic layering. And every composition is a learning experience for me (forever?) so this one had 13 tracks of percussion (total of about 45).
  5. Happy Birthday Al!
  6. Happy Birthday Al! Let's all celebrate (remotely) this afternoon!
  7. As a public service to HC fans of Jessica Biel....I post her stripping, in Powder Blue, 2008. Decent film, Jessica in a thong, Patrick Swaze in a real bad wig, and Ray Liotta in trouble. https://images.app.goo.gl/aw46JdvFYCdeghj5A
  8. Yup, with some rhythmic epic touch that reminded me of a movie soundtrack vibe.

Love the HD580 but can't stand the Ety ER4s due to comfort issues. I also find the HD-58X from Massdrop a really good buy at $150 or so.
  29. Nice, very romantic/classical sounding.
  30. Assuming I survive this (as an immunosepressed individual, but one who worked in a BSL3 and had a CDC license, so I have a leg up on most), I plan on getting that new iPad Pro 12.9 with the keyboard.
  31. I like the top transformer design as well. Reminds me of my first SRX build (on the right). Left one was my second where put trafo in the chassis.
  32. Anyone interested in a large format film camera, here's a Crown Graphix for auction. https://www.proxibid.com/Estate-Personal-Property/Music/Crown-graphix-special-camera-with-schneider-lens/lotInformation/53166234

A rare view from our back yard, snow in Southern California. On a somber note, the three houses under construction in the lower left are the result of the fires from last October.
