ironbut
RIP Robert Forester. One of many actors that had great roles during the WWll movies from my youth. I'm thankful that some of them like Forester, had a revival in recent years. Perhaps Mr. Blessing or others, have some insight on what spurred casting directors to tap this vein (I'm thinking it wasn't just about directors like Tarantino or Lynch/Frost looking for 70's authenticity?). Knuckledragger
This happened a while ago, but I just found out about it. In the 90s I attended Landmark College in Putney, VT. We used to go for "drives" around the Vermont hills and uh, sample the Vermont green. Occasionally we'd pass "the art property" which was a farm that had some massive metal sculptures on it. This lead to some "whoa, dude" moments. Apparently the sculptor died earlier this year at the ripe old age of 87. One of his works is going to be moved to the Landmark campus, which is pretty neat: https://www.nytimes.com/2019/06/25/arts/charles-ginnever-dead.html
